He's such a skilled, thoughtful, sincere person. I have so much respect for him. I'm grateful he's safe and sad he wasn't able to finish.
So sorry you lost your beautiful Puffin, Ian. That storm was absolutely dreadful and you survived it. I can only imagine the sense of loss and your disappointment at not “finishing” the race. Everyone who followed the race felt for you and I’m sure we made a huge collective sigh of relief when you managed to get on board the rescue vessel. I, for one am very grateful that you made it back to your home and family. A magnificent effort. all the best for future sailing adventures.

What an awesome Person. Watching this knowing the final outcome realy saddens my heart. Hope and pray someone finds Puffin and brings her back home.
