You bet! Last time I played this game was 10 years ago. Its so incredibly surreal to me how this game was the definition of my childhood from when I was 8-10 years of age, and now I’m an adult (no longer a child) in college about to play it again after a decade! The nostalgia towards a past element of my childhood has never hit harder than I ever could’ve imagined.
You do know that Walt became indifferent of Oswald after Mickey, right? Simply being a reminder to not let anyone take advantage of him like Mintz did, ever again.
The bad, or "thinner" ending for any of the characters never feels good, like the animatronics will sit there forever since you never collected their parts
Absolutely brilliant game. Every level was beautifully crafted, the story was great, and I absolutely loved how fun the paint mechanic was. Can't believe they came up with this masterpiece out of nowhere. The "corrupted" cartoon characters really scared me as a child, and still make me uncomfortable. Really great job from the artists and devs.

This game was awesome, and I love the ending BUT, I would’ve loved some final face off between Mickey and the Shadow Blot, like the Blot charges at Mickey but then Mickey’s brush just gains some massive boost in power and Mickey fires off this GIANT beam of Paint and Thinner at the Blot
The first game is amazing, the second game is eh. I loved the entire first game except for the ending. Part of me felt like it should’ve been more fierce, more requiring of skill, rather than just popping pimples on the inside.
I agree. i loved exploring the castle, it really felt like the buildup to an epic finale, but it kinda went downhill once you enter the blot. The entire game builds up to your encounter with the blot, but you never get a true boss fight with it. Even the shadow blot's fight was kinda meh after playing it the second time, but at least it was actually a battle. But I love everything else about this game, it's been in my #1 spot since I first played it.
Lemme tell you something I played epic mickey two so much with my brother and we would start the game over and over again even once we beaten the game for the first time because of how much fun it was. I even found out me and my brother always got the bad ending on accident without even knowing and so for the final time before my Wii's life was over I played the game to get the good ending with my brother and said goodbye to one of my favorite game series. I still hope we could get a third game made by another company to finish it.
@@ilovemetaknight5384 I'd still say the original is better because of the better plot, worldbuilding, charming character interactions, difficulty, and darker tone. However, I do think the level structure is a a bit better in Epic Mickey 2 in some areas, and the side quests seemed to be the main focus, because they actually are really good, much better than the first game's. It also nailed exploration since most of the levels were more open, but also less vertical and had less depth. It's definitely a great multiplayer game. I have many fond memories of just messing around with my friends in Mean Street and the Underground. But the story, main quest, and difficulty are just so bad imo. The game's difficulty increases at the very last second, the main quest can be finished in like 7 hours, and the story and tone isn't my cup of tea. The story is predictable at best, and bland at worst, and Mickey has literally nothing to do with the story until the VERY END OF THE GAME. He just feel like a third wheel. Oswald isn't any better. They made him stupid and naive just so the Mad Doctor "twist" would work. Compare Oswald 2 to Oswald from the first game, and they'll seem like two different characters. I still love both these games though, and I also can't explain why. Like you said, it's just magical.
