      @@optimaltt6070 easy boss fight doesn't necessarily mean the game isn't fun, which should be the actual goal. but a boss fight that's too hard (for some people) DOES mean the game isn't fun for them. if you're not having fun because of an easy boss fight, there's plenty you can do to give yourself more of a challenge. it's pretty clear which makes more sense to cater towards

      @@x3mskbord If "press A to win" was "fun" game design, then good for you. Not so much 90% of others.
      But fine, let's pretend you have a point. Let's NOT use Laura. Still means the boss is laughably easy. Don't forget that some people(myself included) initially went into this blind. The boss is just NOT challenging. Unless you actively TRY to lose and DON'T bother learning ANYTHING up until that point. I never even mentioned fun. It's just...laughably easy boss design. Pay attention, hun.

      @@optimaltt6070 with all due respect, you're slightly exaggerating the "press A" part. you *can* win repeating the same crafts over and over again, but you typically would've spent (some) time and thought into your quartz setup. As easy as the boss may be, it's not so easy you can auto-pilot with completely randomized quartz (unless you just over-grinded but that's a different story).
      and honestly even if it was, according to you, at least 10% of people finds that fun. so I don't see a problem setting that as the base. the rest of us can come up with ways to make it more fun and challenging for ourselves. I don't need you to "mention fun"; that's part of my argument for easier boss design. I'm free to bring it up myself in a discussion regarding boss design.
      also, what does going in blind have to do with anything? like you said, most people (me included) go in blind. what, do you think all of us who went in blind should be getting destroyed at first? because that would be an unnecessarily frustrating boss design
