Whatever Javed Akhtar's viewpoints on politics or social issues are, there is no denying that he is one of the finest lyricists in India.
His views on politics and social issues are also fine
That 'hai' at 5:49 surprised me. Even with his raspy, shaky 'old man' voice, Javed sahab actually sings way better than Anu Malik.
Some people may not agree with me, but Javed Akhtar Sahab is the gem of India today. Extremely talented writer and poet, highly knowledgeable linguist, well-researched, up-to-date scholar, clear-headed rationalist, and one of the very few people left who still have a spine. A spine to say the truth out loud without hesitation. My heartiest respect to him.
