Museum of the Amazon (MUSA)- Hidden Gem in Manaus

MUSA (Museum of the Amazon) is such a cool park where the city of Manaus meets the Amazon rainforest. The park is huge and has an incredible observation tower that overlooks the forest for as far as the eye can see as well as the city of Manaus. There are fossils of giant crocodiles (42 feet) and sloths (20 feet) in an outdoor auditorium off of a beautiful trail. There is also a cultural center that shows many of the different indigenous tools and cookware at the front of the park where you can learn about the history of the peoples in this amazing region.

Wow! When you showed the top of the trees it was like one of the scenes in those Hobbit movies when they are lost and I think it's Bilbo that climbs one of the trees and it shows like the top of the trees and a vast forest, pretty cool!
