We need to see you, too. There's another channel called Steady Horse, I think. I am from Australia, where on our huge outback cattle stations, Indigenous horsemen are treasured for their fearless, intelligent, intuitive work with horses and cattle. Btw, that is one fine mule you have there.
You don't break a mule, the mule becomes accustomed to you, but they don't get broken like horses. You gentle a mule with kindness and it's different. A hint from my Gram who is Native, if you isolate the mule so it wants to reach out to you more, it will be easier. Horses respect authority, mules respect kindness, totally different.
Mules are smarter than most people I know. That’s why they are stubborn, and you have to show them why they need to trust you. Once you can do that, you’ve got a friend for life. ❤️
Papaw always said, he'd take two mules over 10 horses. He was plowing one day when his jenny flopped her butt down and would not get back up. So he got a burlap sack, put it on her head, and she jumped up. He kept that sack in her harness. She never quit before it was time anymore. Sure footed for sure...
I do admire mules. I rode a good deal as a girl in Colorado, and the stable owner always rode mules. They are incomparable on mountain trails, and such interesting personalities.
I'm a white boy from Kentucky and I had a old black man teach me how to break and train horses he started me on teaser pony's and as I got older he moved me up to yearling race horses that was a life time ago but iv never forgot one thing he thought me his name was mister Barns.
Mules respond good to changing their bits , keeps them guessing, I had a nice 4yr old mare mule that would not stand still always moving around , I put solid iron bit with a copper roller a heavy bit , she stood still on three like a 12yr old first ride out in the spring ??!
The animal doesnt know the connotation, the trainer seems to be doing it he right way with praise after the command and a mild tone thats what matters.
You're lucky you didn't have a wreck. Tying your mule to a janky fence just to get on. He obviously wasn't ready for that. Why the blinders? I can't understand why you would use them for this You're lucky, but it's impairative that you learn safe practices. Shirtless or not, nothing cool about a head injury.

Indeed. The forgotten wranglers… The real originals.

Buen travajo mi hermano
It is not 'breaking', it is taming. Breaking refers to breaking a horse's spirit to make it give up and just be ridden. You are taming!
We did too.
So very fine 🎉
Take most of that s*** off of him you're scaring him to death
You got to be from Mississippi😂 trying to break roof😂 ain't good for nothing but planning a garden
Why don't you have a shirt on ?

Wish people would stop say break when referring to training. Break has a terrible connotation.

@@anthonyresto8596good luck trying , some people just have to hate. Usually who is not having horse time in real life
So you're in Texas and I'm up here watching you talk about a mule compared to a woman you got a break. I just frowned gagged then rolled my eyes. Bye
c.t.murray,
Sounds like you've never been tamed, nor saddled. ☆
Or gone to war for a man
Maybe you just break women!! 😂😂😂

Can you come break me? I'm a mule ❤
No pride of ancestry, and no hope for progeny.
How to say that probably be the problem breaking news they're way smarter than a f****** horse
To break horse's mules and donkeys ....
Take them to the pond or lake....
