I completely forgot about this place, surprise its still there.
It’s the most famous and best water park in the world! Why would it be gone?
Man that first one was so fun, until I went down backwards and flipped over 😂
I liked your Schlitterbahn Song at the end LOL. They should hire you to write their jingles. “Schlitterbahn means Water Road… No wait a sec! It means Slippery Road!!!” Instant classic!!!!! Love it!
@@RobbZipp it was like an “after the credits” additional scene in a movie!!!
So I actually work as a lifeguard at schlitterbahn in new braunfels and at 10:45, that lifeguard is signaling for a minor emergency meaning he needs water or a bathroom break or somethin, he can also blow 2 and jump into the water if he needs to, to render aid to a guest in distress
Thank you for clarifying what was going on! Also thanks for watching and commenting!
Surprised they let her use the kiddie tube and let you use the go pro on rides. We’re told not to let people do that. (Record and use tubes not allowed) also the 2 whistles are EaPs or emergency activation, it lets higher ups know when a guard is off stand or needs something.
Haven’t been to the old park in a while!!! New park isn’t as fun only the master blaster and black knight are fun in my opinion in new park!
I been to that water park and I fell out of the tube. I’m going tubing in few weeks at the river
I was scared of falling out, too. I fell out a few times on the river last year and it made me anxious about falling out at the park.
@@RobbZipp I’m glad I didn’t lose my slippers or crop or whatever when I was tubing about 3 years ago
Hey man did they give you any issues using your gopro? Like they did tell you you couldn't use it on the rides
@@RobbZipp alright thanks cause I'm there now and they told me I couldn't use it on the rides. You're a real one thank you. You earned a sub for that
Really? That’s weird. I guess it was because I didn’t ride any slides. Just some river rides.
@@RobbZipp maybe but the first ride technically was a river ride cause it flows around the park. It's the one where it's headed towards the river. Ya I'm not taking it to the big slides I'm only doing the chill rides or the river rides like you said
When ever they blow 2 steady whistles and hold up 2 fingers it activates EAP(Emergency action protocol) it’s basically calling a supervisor if there’s a minor or non life threatening injury , lost kid , ETC.
How does it compare to Galveston Schlitterbahn? I think New Braunfels Schlitterbahn is probably the best one. It’s the original!
I saw myself at the park in the video lol😂 8:50 in the background that was my dad I was the one with the dark pink hat not light pink that was my mom
Hi I actually made this comment last year, I got a new CZcams account that’s why it’s different.
I just wanted to say we got season passes this year too and we’re going tomorrow. I’m so excited 😊
Have you been to Schlitterbahn before? Let me know! Also don’t forget to slap the like button!
I haven’t been back to New Braunfels Schlitterbaun since I was a kid with my fam! I remember it was epic back then in the 80’s !!! I remember you could tube down the water slides into the actual river! I remember my family stayed at some really cool riverside rentals called The Other Place. We tubed so much! This must have been in the late 80’s !!!
@@wackyruss yes. They shut down riding the tubes into the river because it would get mixed up with people who didn’t pay. Also I think it was a liability. Cedar Fair bought them out a few years ago and made some changes that some people hate.
Yes I’ve been on the one on 45 in Spring
@@RobbZipp wow!!!! That’s crazy. Well I’m glad I had the whole “tubin’ down the chute straight into the River” experience as a kid!
@@jay_7139 that’s not a Schlitterbahn. That’s Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, formerly known as Splashtown.
