- Part 99 - Battling & Stalking Ultimate Weapon.
Yep, here we stalk Ultimate Weapon and try to beat him up.
I mean, all he wants is some peace and quiet and we do all this to him?!
Anyway, you can speed this up by doing more damage to him each time, but I rather stole the stuff he had in case...
Be ready to follow him once the battle is over!
Look around quickly or you'll loose him and you have to search the whole world for him!
Bump into him a couple of times and he will fly to his destination.
When low enough on hp he goes directly to cosmo canyon where you do a final battle.
You may wanna put up some barriers to avoid dying to his death attack there... Unlike what I did ;-) Poor Cid.
Once he's dead, you get access to the forest and get Cloud's best weapon, the Ultima Weapon.
I love how Ultima Weapon becomes your weapon once defeated

loved seeing him beat spent endless hours as a kid getting wrecked by him, liked and subbed aka CapN Krome.
The wait is so long😂 I’ve been playing this game and I’m only twelve This has been a large piece of my childhood so far I’m glad they’re making a remake because this really is one of the best games to exist in my opinion
It's fine, I don't mind answering questions.
Only problem for me is that I forget a lot of 'details' and small things regarding games that I haven't played for a while or more. ;)
I was at ancient Forest before i Killed Ultimate Weapon wuth golden chocobo
Quick tip after you fight Diamond you can fight ultimate, and right after Diamond is killed you can go to the northern cave and ultimate will be waiting in his death spot for you
Tips to get the max out of this fight.
Begin the encounters on disc/chapter 3 so that you spend less time chasing it.
Make sure the person who gets the kill has enough HP and is wearing all four Enemy Skill Materias so that Shadow Flare can be effectively learned. Other than Sephiroth, this is the only point in the game you can learn this move.
Limit Breaks are ideal. I have Cloud learn this since Metorain does the most damage. Also, with him wearing a Mystile armor, it provides the best possible defense against this.

You can hit it with KOTR on first encounter and it goes to the final resting area above Cosmo Canyon. Also the Spider monster in the Caves on disc 3 use Shadow Flare.
@@user-cm9wm7tg2p didn’t know that about the kotr. But it’s a lot easier to get it from Ultimate Weapon.
Those spider things are Dragon Zombies. You have to paralyze them or something.
I stack all of my e skill materias to cloud. With him having the Mystile, the shot doesn’t hurt him.
@@RejectedSpiritX You can get 99 Mystiles using the W-Item glitch and the magic pots. You can also get 99 Ziedricks, 99 Minerva Bands and 99 Tough rings using the W-Item glitch.
You probably mean pairing it with the blue ALL materia.
Using Bolt 1 for Cloud really really annoyed me when you have a limit break waiting.

He was using bolt 1 plus Steal As Well materia; lightning-Steal As Well on his equipped weapon. Trying to steal something before killing Ultimate weapon.
First time I fight him I use Knights of the Round, he flys to his final resting spot then I equip Cloud with all four Enemy Skill materia and enough HP plus to be at 9999. After another round of KOTR he hits Cloud with Shadow Flare and dies. Now all four enemy skill have Shadow Flare.
Kotr 😂😅 he'll go to and stay at cosmo canyon equip cloud with the reflect ring and all 4 enemy skill materia 😅😂 no need to chase ultimate weapon anymore 😅😂 i do it on disc 2 after cloud comes back yw😅
One use of Knights Of The Round and he flew off and mine is one star just got it

@@yuyaricachimuel555 Ultimate Weapon shouldn't have gotten in the way of the Highwind. Besides, the only way to acquire Cloud's Ultimate Weapon (Ultima Weapon) in this game is by *killing* Ultimate Weapon. You can also acquire the Enemy Skill **Shadow Flare** from him. Due to these 2 important things, Ultimate Weapon had to die.

what level should i be for this fight
Okay I’m on the 3 disc in mobile and the weapon just ran from the lifestream place for the second time where do I find him next I kept flying but he is no where to be found..
Sometimes, you have to wait to see him fly, i found almost 1 hour to meet him
No, that's 1 of the Absorbs.
If I remember correctly, the Added Steal is found in the cave where there's lots of fires that you can't pass through.(You find Dragon Lance or w/e it's called for Cid there).
You need the Leviathan Scales from outside the submarine where you got Javelin to remove the flames.
It's not an important materia anyway, I mean it's hardly ever useful.
I read somewhere that it's best to defeat ultimate weapon before trying to get knights of the round?
he was easy,u don't need knights around table on him.
@@shanenice5380 plus you can get KotR before you fight ultimate
It's better to have KOTR when you fight him and have it in Clouds Apocalypse weapon; 3x the AP when you kill Weapon helps master KOTR quicker.

Shadow flare is a enemy skill.
Added steal... added steal is the one you get from the shop before Yuffie steals it from you?
Why the fuck is Emerald so damn strong.
thats why i beat this boss last and got emerald good with knights of the round materia.2 parties must have mime for this to work so emerald wont have a chance to kill parties.
Yep, but it's like 1 hit attack which is totally useless at this point.

If you're trying to obtain the Ultima weapon, you need to fight Ultimate weapon and defeat it on disc 3
I killed it right after I killed Diamond Weapon; on disc 2
how do you get him to appear?
You need to defeat diamond weapon first then after, then search for him in some specific location where he hang out like midgar, medeel, some lake etc
No u of course beat diamond but then u got to play disk 3 and fight him

mine has been 9999 since then like dude said above you just need a HP+ materia maxed out and you can equip more than one. It helps to buy a few and max them out so everyone in your group can have one. Same with MP+ and Magic Plus
