An easy to grasp understanding of what SAFe really is and how it differs from SCRUM and Waterfall with as little jargon as possible For More: www.metabusinessanalyst.com/ta...
Great video. Do you have to get re-accredited for SAFE every year (i.e. is there an annual cost? Or is the renewal just simply more of an administrative process? Thanks
Great Angelo. But do you know that there is extreme similarities between Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) as well as Management of Portfolio (MoP) and SAFe? Also, did you know that PI Planning, which is supposed to be the MAGIC of SAFe, looks extremely similar to a Tranche in MSP? MSP and MOP have been around for many decades. SAFe is blessed with the fact that it's audience appear not to have in-depth understanding of other methodologies to recognise the extreme similarities. Also, water fall methodologies are perfect for non-agile projects, like building a hospital or a road. I still like your style of presentation and look forward to seeing more. Well done.
Yeah, I wasn't aware of these other concepts (or at least not the terminology). I think it's rebranding to fit the popular buzzwords of the time, which is pretty common. Kind of like how dance fitness used to be Jazzercize and now it's Zumba. I'll read up on these concepts. I like to add tools to my tool belt.
If you go to 02:12 I specifically mention UX professionals. It's important to remember that not every team has to have every kind of skill and people can have multiple skill sets. Also depending on how your organization is set up, UX professionals might exist at a higher level defining UX for the organization (similar to how an enterprise architect defines technology strategy). Also, I didn't make that graphic (note the attribution at the bottom of the image)
"Waterfall works fairly well most of the time" *Clicks dislike button* "...but it doesn't take into account things like... reality, and being human" *Unclicks dislike button" "Ok, I'm listening..."
The noisy rubbing of hands, the "and, um", um, and the audible gulps, of like, um, you know, the (audible gulp of air) makes it, like, um not watchable.
I also find it annoying, that's why I stopped doing it (and got a better microphone). However, this is a popular video (not everyone finds it as unwatchable as we might), so didn't want to take it down.
Great summary of all 3 processes
Great video, Angelo!
Great explanation!

Yes, annual renewal and it's just administrative, no retest, just paying. I've let mine lapse, so I don't know the cost anymore.
@@AngeloTheBA Hey, thanks so much for responding. Would you know roughly what it cost. Like < or >$100? (I'll try searching) Thanks again.
@@OnceTheyNamedMeiWasnt $200 - $300 depending on how many certifications you are renewing
@@AngeloTheBA good stuff. Thanks for this and your channel too

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Explained Quick and Easy. You mean quickly unexplained.
Where does UX fit into this? I didn’t see this representation on that team graphic.

Thanks for not giving up on me to soon 😁
Aboslutely nothing to do with agile.
Do you mean the Scaled Agile Framework has nothing to do with agile or that my video about Scaled Agile Framework failed to be relevant to agile?
