My little brother is getting ready to record this song but my dad is running into some problems.
Where did you get the track? My dad is using Cubase 7, he's worried because it starts with the drum solo so he doesn't know how to or when to start the track.
I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you for your time.

No problem. Hope i solve them all.
I used the original track, just low volume. I´m using cubase 5 and i started from the beggining. Added 2 bars of metronome before and kick it (it´s really hard to nail it at the beggining).

Busca ejercicios por aquí en youtube. Hay patrones de practica sencillos que ayudan a ir mejorando la técnica y la coordinación. Depende un poco de lo que vayas necesitando en cada momento. También ejercicios de interdependencia.
Yo siempre recomiendo buscar un buen profesor. Para aprender bien y evitar vicios que luego cuesta años corregir. Te lo digo por propia experiencia. Saludos

Roland TD-9 K2 y además está corriendo el VST Superior Drummer 2.0 en post-producción. O sea reemplaza el módulo de Roland por un instrumento virtual. Los sonidos son mejores ya que pertenecen a pre-set ups de baterias reales.

This particular drumset will be out of stock for sure (it´s a model from 2006 or so) you can find the new roland kits similar to this one (better for sure) in your local retailer or online. I bought it at thomman.
