- Give this one a few minutes to see the actual clog! Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE and let me know where you're watching! I'm trying to grow this channel and shed a light on something that's often forgotten and extremely dangerous!
This one shows a downstairs dryer with a hidden surprise... Also, an incorrect exterior damper!
Please check out my website for my Quick Connect Periscope! It's the PERFECT product that replaces the flex hose connection and GETS THE MACHINE CLOSER TO THE WALL! Safer than ANY flex hose behind your dryer! No more fooling with connecting the dryer to the duct! No more lint leakage forcing you to dust constantly!

PLEASE LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE FOLKS!!! I'm trying to grow the channel however I'd much rather spread the word on the dangers of your dryer vent AND SAVE A LIFE!!! You subscribing helps get this message to more and more people!
Cleaning your dryer vent should be on your "to do" list regardless of if you own or rent your home! ESPECIALLY if your vent is run in a tight crawl space.

Great video!
Thank you for wearing a mask. It's not just the lint, but the chemicals from detergent and fabric softener that were used when doing the laundry that's coming out of those vents.
See! I told y'all I would listen to ya! I'm humbled by the outpouring of love and suggestions you guys have proposed! I appreciate you all!
Nice job!
I like your videos the most out of all the vent cleaning videos, you actually show from start to finish and explain the things that need explaining. Keep up the great work! 🩷 From Alberta Canada!
Thanks Canada!!!!! ❤❤❤
Your a very informative presentation is just right!
My coworker was helping his widowed Mom out one weekend and told me that Monday it was a miracle his parent's house hadn't burned down. He discovered his Dad had vented the dryer vent into the wall with no external exhaust. Yes, a good 15 years of fuzz build-up. He said at least it was insulation there.
Oh my... WOW! Glad it was found before something even worse happened! Thx for watching!!!
NICE!!!
Thank you!!!
When I did dryer vent cleaning here in TN, I have a case full of louvers because they were always brittle from the sun and always missing or snapped when I barely touched them.
LOL!!! I have a pretty large selection myself!!! Thx for watching!
WOW!
There is something satisfying about the videos. I'm not sure what, but l enjoy them 😀😀😀👍👍👍 A subscriber from Australia
😂. For some reason I enjoy my “job” more than most! Thx for sharing your thoughts!!!❤
The louverd dryer vent is one of my favorite vents. just make sure it’s cleaned and make sure it don’t have a screen on it but great video!👍
Thanks for watching Gamer!!!!
@@advsLLC anytime!
I must add a tip, folks love dryer sheets but they can leave a bit of residue on the filter and along the hose to add misery and fluff. So if you can avoid them it's best.
BAM!!!! You are correct! Dryer sheets have a surfactant that when heated, it turns into basically glue that gets pushed through your vent and eventually causes more lint to stick vs using liquid fabric softener! So glad you brought this up!!!
I never use them, things are soft enough with a bit of fabric softener and the tumbling action. Too much waste and unnecessary expense.
@@nicolad8822 Fabric softener sheets are terrible for your dryer AND dryer vent! They actually make the lint stick to the inner wall of the vent!
Nice job, Steve!
Hopefully you saw the mask Bob!!! I was waiting for your response my friend!
@advsLLC ah yes, I did notice the mask. Glad you got it.
You definitely could have edited a lot of nothing going on out
True... I've only been doing this CZcams/video aspect for 2.5 months.... I can rebuild your house however video creation isn't my strong suit... I'd bet I pick it up rather quickly though! Thx for your feedback!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍😍
Sealant! Need to be applied.
No reason , how about critters getting in. The vent needed caulk and a screen on the bottom ❗️🇺🇸
No, you aren’t supposed to screen a dryer vent… You may want to watch some of my other videos bc I go in depth about dryer vent screens. Also, why caulk the damper when it’s right beside a foundation vent which is literally a 16”x8” huge hole in the same foundation…
If you really thought that it didnt matter, why did you drill 4 holes and install 4 anchors? Also do you plan on sealing anything?
Did you watch the video? If so, maybe you’d see why! And I installed an exterior damper to masonry the way it should be! Let me guess, you just caulk dampers to the exterior? Please explain and I’ll back my work up EVERY DAY!
However we're all here, patiently waiting and excited to hear how YOU would've fixed it! ALL EARS ChuckD!
You should learn to speed edit the long minutes so we aren't sitting watching nothing happening for long stretches.
Seriously no offense but this is just poor work . No sealant means water will get in. No anchors on the screws means they'll fall out soon as moisture gets in and finally no screen means any Little critter can climb right in and live in your dryer. Not to mention the editing who leaves that much idol footage in their videos
You clearly didn’t watch the video! Good try though! Try watching again! As well as learning about dryer vents!
And I’m the one that left that much footage. Don’t like it, don’t watch!
@@advsLLC ok my apologies I am not an expert in any of these fields and have no right to criticize your work and as I sit here and put a little extra thought into this video I come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter how I feel about your work or what you do or don't do cause the moral of the story is no one is ever going to practice proper vent maintenance 😁
No, you've insulted my work multiple times while offering absolutely nothing to the conversation.... No anchors? So you think i just screwed into masonry? WOW! Also, if you watched the video, or knew anything about wall caps/dampers, you'd see I use the best options available. My channel is here to help educate people of a real danger in their home. Don't call me out for something you know nothing about! I actually appreciate you watching and giving your thoughts however let me see you do it! If it doesn't interest you, DON'T WATCH!
@@advsLLC AGAIN WITH ALL APOLOGIZES I have looked into it and with one third of over three thousand annual dryer fires could be avoidedable with proper vent maintenance I agree this real danger is a great message to get out there. You could see if your local insurance companies could offer discounts for people that maintain their vents
