  • Peugeot has been doing great things with their cars lately and I want to find out if the Rifter is the best seven-seat car on the market.

    These would be so much more usable than most SUVs with their perceived practicality. I doubt you’ll see too many on Irish roads though.

    I sleep in my Renault Megane when I'm on shift and I swore I'd never sleep in it again. So I bought a 1998 motorhome. But the motorhome is slow, there's only a few spots in work where I can park and lately it's costing me a fortune in repairs. I've considered going back to the car and was looking at SUV and estates. But headroom is a problem. Then I discovered this car and I think it will be perfect for my needs. Remove the last 2 seats and lay the others flat. Put in a cot or airbed and still have room got my cooking equipment and cooler. Might even get the portipotty in too. I'm going to go and look at it today. Thanks for the review!

      We are also going with Allied mobility with wheel chair access. Not sure if the engine size but I think they said it's the SR model. Also it's a diesel which I am not so keen on with the cost of fuel but we don't do much millage. Our current car has done under 10,000 in five years.

I tried a tourneo but couldnt see over the bulky dashboard. I currently have an old manual berlingo, which kills my arthritis, but cant go for automatic as I also have gout in right big toe. Good video and review but I'd like to have seen how the back seats come out, and the boot space with and without them in. None of the specs show the actual measurement (in inches) of the boot space, only in litres which is no use whatsoever if you're trying to figure whether physical items fit in or if you want dog cages fitted as I do

    This will flood the taxi market with newer taxi drivers who need a 7 seater that can take wheelchairs. They look alright for a van, still cant beat a VW Transporter or Ford Custom. One youll have to review Bob is the Toyota ProAce if your doing a commercial vechicle playlist.

      the Toyota proace is a Peugeot expert/citroen dispatch with Toyota badges stuck on. the same as the toyota aygo city car, a Peugeot 103 with Toyota badges. the Toyota hiace van couldn't meet the new euro emissions standards so they pulled it from he euro market and piggy backed on the experts in diesel engines and small and medium vans Peugeot.i had a laugh at 2 lads I know that have a proace each, I asked them why didn't ya get the expert or dispatch, they said they wouldn't touch a French yoke, don't want to be in the garage with problems. sure I said your driving a French yoke in disguise for a grand more, the look on their faces they went on google before they believed me. one of them has nearly 240,000 km without any trouble the other lad is nearly at 170,000 with no trouble.

    • @typhoontim125
      @typhoontim125 Před 5 lety +7

      The passenger seat has a hard plastic back on it and I would think this is because it can fold down (unlike the driver seat) and you may be carrying longer items (lengths of wood for example) that could rest on the back of the passenger seat, hence the hard plastic back on it. Just my theory!
