Mega Man 10 [60FPS]: All Special Stages (Buster Only, No Damage)

- A playthrough of all the Special Stages from Mega Man 10 with only the Mega Buster and without taking any damage. These stages are based on levels from the Game Boy Mega Man games, specifically Dr. Wily’s Revenge, III and IV. They also feature bosses from these respective games, namely Enker, Punk and Ballade, who are collectively known as the Mega Man Killers.
Special Stage 1, based on Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge, is probably the hardest of the three. It features a lot of tricky platforming and many moments where you’ll need to act quick. Enker is also the hardest boss of the three, with fast movement and a degree of randomness when it comes to said movement.
Special Stage 2, based on Mega Man III, is the middle ground in terms of difficulty. It has its tricky moments, but for the most part it’s a relatively easy stage. Punk himself isn’t very difficult either as long as you make sure to stay all the way on the opposite side of the screen when he’s attacking. That way you’ll have enough time to see if you have to jump over or simply stand/walk under his attacks.
Special Stage 3, based on Mega Man IV, is the easiest of the bunch. Aside from the beginning of the stage, the only other tricky part is getting rid of some of the missiles with just the Mega Buster, which requires you to fire a shot at a specific height and quickly run after it. Ballade is also the easiest of the bosses. Just pay attention to his movement; if he stands still for a little bit after a jump, he’ll always run towards you.

I like how they replicated the cheap dropper sections from Wily's revenge XD.
Yeah, they kept these stages really faithful to the original ones, for better and for worse haha.
But there’s no carry so it’s harder
To me, Enker is my favorite stage but Ballade is my favorite boss. I love how hectic they are, but they're also so simple.
Every time punk beats me when I fight him, I always go bananas because he is the hardest boss.
The Ballade Stage music make me remember the time I and my brother play Mega man. I like this=)

Quint isn't a MegaMan killer though. Wouldve been cool to see his jackhammer though.

@@SopaDoEspaco I know, they serve the same roles in their respective games though. Quint also appear among the others on the Wily Star in Mega Man V.
I spent so many days trying these stages over and over and you just did them this all this quickly, buster only, and no damage?! You are a god!

Going back and playing the GB titles, I'm only now realizing how similar these stage layouts are to the originals!

Question: can you play the special stages as Protoman or bass? Or only as MegaMan?
Just Mega Man, unfortunately. However, you can fight the bosses from them as Proto Man and Bass under the 'Extra Challenges' section, I believe (assuming you have MMLC2).

How Do You Even Get Past This Part Without Using Any Weapons On Ballade's Stage?!
You have to fire a shot at the perfect height while jumping forward at that part so the shot is not only able to hit the rocket, but also doesn't go offscreen before being able to do so. It's extremely precise, so it might take some attempts (got pretty lucky in the video).

Not that many, actually. I think it took me a little over an hour to get a successful attempt on all three stages, but after the initial successful attempt, getting another on one of these stages would usually take less than 10 minutes (which I had to do, because the recording program I used early on messed up the recording for the initial attempts).
@@Joki_ Well, funnily enough you did slightly better on Punk's stage than I. I did it in the most heinous way I could get away with attempting to copy Kuja Killer's run as best I could.

Yep, all of the stages are based on Wily Stages from their respective Game Boy games.

If you have the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, then I believe you can find them under 'original challenges' in the Time Attack section. I think they're either available right from the start or once you beat the game for the first time, but I'm not entirely sure about that.
Dude enker sucks so bad ive tried to beat him but i just. I just cant get his pattern down aaaagh
Man I hated these stages
They have their issues, but overall I think they're really fun, not to mention the cool rewards you get for beating them.
