This is the best mix of Relax since it's release in the 80's. I love how you have incorporated a new element to the mix from about 1.30. Is this from the original multi track or have you added it?
Thanks - that part has been "cunningly extracted" (along with the additional vocals) from the original 16 minute 12", available to listen here - czcams.com/video/MLkdUX8DI0g/video.html (to be honest I find that a bit of a chore to listen to and I say that as an uberfan)
@@hibsmix7098 Thanks for your reply. I would be interested in understanding what equipment and/or software you use to extract the sample. I have always wanted to understand whether it is possible to hear the isolated layers of the Frankie songs as it always seems to give you another dimension to the masterpieces.
@@RichardBateson-cq5qx Along with ProTools and the usual plug-in gubbins I used a de-mix model called "demucs v4" (as far as I understand it's open source and available from various sites, e.g. x-minus.pro). Results can be variable depending on source material, but worked pretty well in this instance
Time flies when you have fun! 😊
This is such a great remix, one of the best I know. Thanks you HIBS.
