All layers have been left at their default levels. In a sense, this track is just a raw, unmastered instrumental rendition of the song.
Personally, I believe Periphery is meant to have vocals -- Misha himself has also stated the same as well. There is definite space left with vocals in mind (more so over the past few releases), and even that aside, Spencer is very talented in his own right!
Whether it's meant to sound this way, or be mixed into many different variants is up to the band themselves. Regardless, enjoy, and stay tuned for more!

I do think Juggernaut featured some of Spencer's best performances but it is definitely interesting hearing these riffs without him, tbh i had no idea at 1:37 the riff changes slightly

it's so weird how Spencer is so amazing, but somehow his layers drown out the instrumentalization, like the acoustic chords in the break before the first chorus? never even knew they were there

Yeah, it actually happens a lot more than you think (and more than I'd really like to admit). Some riffs were definitely covered up a little in MK Ultra, too. So I guess the instrumental versions are really worth it, for that sense! (Since you get to hear ALL the riffs.)
You should check out the Priestess Nolly video too. Not many people have (kinda bummed about that), but there are some lovely bass riffs in that one you barely could hear before!

I checked out the Nolly Priestess, and I can definitely agree the bass sounds awesome and I wish they didn't drown him out so much in the final mix.

I absolutely agree. I really love and admire spencer as a vocalist, and I think hes done amazing work on periphery, but these instrumental hit me in a whole different way emotionally, since you can hear all of the layers and small nuances.
