Had a NASTY hail storm where I live and it decimated the stripping on my 2016 Challenger. Was soooooo PISSED. Looked up the parts and was going to just buy them and have the dealership replace, but after stumbling on this tutorial, I think I can do it myself. THANKS! I will give it a try, you ROCK.
I'm have to do mine for similar reasons didn't get no hail damage on the body but for some reason the windo seals end up all full of lil holes & now because of the heat they are starting too crack as well..
It really is not that hard. Just take your time and don't rush or force anything. Things can brake. Hopefully this video helps on your install. Let me know how it goes. Good luck. But luck is on your side.
Yah you don't have to take the door panel off, but taking the door panel off made it a hell of a lot easier to see what I was doing. Made the process easier for me. I never did this job of the inner belt and outer belts. Taking the door panel off is easy, it takes 15 minutes to take off door panel and really see what you're doing to get the belts off. It's up to you really.
You wanna go online, and get actual Mopar parts. Don't get cheap stuff when buying stuff like these. They ain't cheap either. But makes the car look nice. Go to a Mopar seller. The best price. Look around.

That is terrible! It is pretty easy. Just be careful pulling up on the stripping. Pull nice BUT firm. Thank you and Thank you for watching.

The Sun is the worst. Starts cracking in lines and spreads as time goes on.
Just bought a used 2015 Dodge Challenger. The same piece is all scraped up from the previous owner. Going to order a replacement. Wish me luck 🙏
