In the latinamerican servers it's pretty common.
I know of several pro/ex proplayers who hit challenger playing from shitty pc's with 100+ ping or playing from ciber-cafe's
I play on 10 ping in a local service, still hardstuck low gold-plat. For 10 years.
After only 3 months of playing the game and being new to it!! That was crazy I had to stop the video there!!!

@@eraldidisho4325 There is another youtuber who looks into animation of LoL and talks about it a lot. There is quite a lot of use of these old school animation techniques (squash and stretch) which allows a fairly small character model to easily convey movement/power/other things through nothing but animation.
I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the video, but a really good use for Bard Ult is to deny the rift herald when the enemy gets it. If you ult your own turret, the rift herald will not damage it at all when it dashes!

I really like this, ive been watching a lot of supports and trying to figure out how to do better since im just gold support main. I can't help but notice that this guy and Aphromoo both adopt a heavy roam support style, both rushing lucid boots and locket.

Yo, I've tried this build several times on ARAM and it did wonders. I simply love the synergies among all the items and build he took. I'm not a scared Bard anymore. You have to watch them all in for you and surprise bitches, I'm a tank now and they eventually die. Simply love it. Thank you for sharing
Damn finally i find a player that started out the same way as me, who thought going NA was worth only to play with highping, it seriously is an insane handicap but i actually recommend people trying it out because i swear its good practice and can give you a new understanding about predicting opponents and such.

One other thing, eyeball collection allows him to proc the cosmic drive passive which you need 160 AP for, without it youre a few ap short

as a bard main I recommend Na`shor tooth, it gives a great boost for his passive! Rapid cannon will also help with ms and attack speed. In late game Bard`s autoattacks will help sooo much in teamfights
I got a question for the opera GX users, Does it actually work by limiting ram and cpu? I tried but it doesnt seem to change much compared to chrome even with more tabs open

My favorite things to do when I play Bard are tricking enemies into my portals and interrumpting Jhin's and Xerath's ultis with my R
I climbed out of Bronze (to plat) with bard and i still Main him. Over the years i Too evolved a playstyle where you Build him tanky and act just as he explained and hearing the #1 bard doing the same stuff as me just Feels so cool
PS: Bard was by far the strongest when Spellthiefs Edge still existed and had twin shadows on it + the Quest that gave you movement speed when gaining gold through the passive (by hitting a champion). He was sooo good at catching and kiting and position himself for the Q it was Insane. And then there was this time where it was normal to have like 8 meeps following you and you could 1v1 any non-tank easy with their base damage

Yeah he said it correctly, you want AH, Armour, and HP
If ya'll look at the base value on meep-autos you'd agree that tank items are for Bard. At 50 chimes it's 160 bonus damage per auto for up to 4 autos in an _aoe that slows._ Even if you aren't going for q or r, Bard would be able to slow someone(s) by 50% for 4 seconds, and deal 640 bonus damage for "free". With 30% ap ratio, you'd need 533 ap to double the damage, and you'd definitely die before getting more than 2 autos off in later game scenarios if built full ap. His attack range is also only 500, and he can get more than 4 charged auto's in the bank if the game goes really long, for more bonus damage per auto too. Bard's entire kit struggles to have even as much ap value as Soraka just pressing R. Bard's E and R have 0 scaling.

I might be off, but I am fairly certain that Guardian does *not* proc off of Bard's shrine after(key word: *after*) placed.
This is because of how the Shrine targeting actually functions and the requirements for proccing Guardian.
Guardian only goes off of unit-targeted abilities. The Shrine is treated as unit-targeted only when it is being placed(you may notice a slight snap-to effect when hovering W over a friendly champion). If used in that way, the ally is Guarded as per Guardian.
If the shrine is placed and left, it should no longer proc Guardian.

What I don't get is that almost every clip shows him with Imperial mandate, but then says to never build it.
He says that he is a "new player from s7", but then his EU account dates back to S3 (diamond finish which was a high elo back then). Also, he talks about playing Warcraft3 instead of LoL, which was alive up until 2010. Plus Bard was released in S5. I really didn't understand this part.
As a Bard main I really find his roaming play style fun

Has Lathyrus said anything about Eyeball vs Cheap Shot on Bard? It seems like the latter would work better into really running away with that level 1 lead.
The reason why he goes for Eyeball Collection is that it allows him to get 30 ap for his Cosmic Drive. It's his new build (sadly was still in testing while the video was being made). Cheap Shot is indeed great on Bard as well and if it were not for the fact that Cosmic Drive is absolutely bonkers with the movement speed and huge amount of ability haste. Lathy was in Korea a bit more than a year ago, but since it was just a trip there he couldn't stay longer than a month (especially with corona floating around), so he got to challenger in Korea in s10.

If anyone cares to have a quick lil review from someone who tried opera GX very briefly just because of curiosity here it is in my personal opinion:
It looks really nice and has a lot of great features such as the ones advertised but the one thing that I couldn't get over and it ultimately made me change back to chrome is that none of the adblockers worked properly on it. I cant stand ads on youtube and anywhere else for that matter. I tried lots of different adblockers but for some reason the ads kept coming through as if they were whitelisted by the opera adblockers. Sometimes the ad itself was blocked but I still had to click the little "click here to skip ad" button to view the video. Other than that it was in my opinion a good looking and smooth browser however I couldn't have it like this when I know adblockers on chrome works as intended. I may be ignorant and this may in fact be a fixable issue but I couldn't find a solution myself.

I've been playing Bard on and off since his release. I understand the points he is making exactly. Although, playing Attack Speed AP/Hybrid Bard is the stupidest shit that I've ever got to work.
I remember the Twisted Treeline times, bard was op there with the good old gunblade and onhit. miss those times.
So do you go armor or adaptive force in the middle row? You show adaptive force but say armor? Other than that a nice video

Supports that can carry are really great. Like... people discount Nid as a support despite having great roam, amazing poke, powerful assassination, vision, and, perhaps most important for some ADCs, a heal that also increases attack speed significantly. People like to take Vel or Brand support but the superior APC support is Vei, as a well placed E can lock down and potentially stun many of the enemy team, and he scales infinitely so he can absolutely carry.
Many people won't want to hear this next one but Teemo... yes, yes... Teemo can deal massive damage, blind the ADC, and he has extra vision at 6, requiring the opposing team to either give up static wards, or risk getting their health chunked with a single shroom.
There are a lot of non-support supports that can work so incredibly well if you know what you're doing, and more important, why you're doing it.
Bard actually IS a support that can carry, has amazing roam, infinitely scales. The only thing he's missing is extra vision. I sort of wish that chimes gave vision just on the chime, so if an opponent walked directly on the chime, or used an ability that goes over the chime, you could see it. It would add a whole new level of strategy; do you go for that chime in the bush or hope the opponent steps over it so you can see where they are?
It's not much at all really and very easily avoidable, but would it be op? It could be, especially in lower ranks when people aren't aware or just don't care. It could mean the difference between top lane going all in to secure a kill because they know jungle is in bot jungle, and top lane playing safe because they don't know for sure. Getting even a split second of vision from a chime could cause all sorts of stuff to happen. Or nothing at all. A vision source that can't be targeted and lasts forever, even if it only reveals basically itself... idk... could be op, could be just a nice, new, incentive to play a champ I get told constantly isn't a viable choice... except by friends, they know things.
But yeah I love supports that can carry, especially the ones that scale infinitely like Bard, Vei, and Senna, or those that give extra vision and can deal a lot of damage, like Nid and Teemo. And Nid has that HEAL!!! Seriously people... that heal alone makes her a great support, but the poke and early engage she brings, along with the vision from her traps, just pushes her to A5 levels!! [yes... beef score... and I'm not even talking about Ali... what a waste :( ]
Hopefully after 2 years you now understand to never ever do teemo supp
