sending love! my mum passed away when I was 15 and last year my grandad (her dad) took his life as he couldn’t live without her anymore. sometimes trying not to think about it is the best way to grieve. of course it will cross my mind everyday but I’ve learnt not to focus on this too much even though it’s hard as i’m trying to remember them both alive and happy, rather than think about these awful times. you are a wonderful and strong person and you will be okay 🥰

I'm so very sorry to hear that you have lost your husband. I just cannot imagine how you feel. I have lost both of my parents and I'm still grieving ...there is no time limit on grief and every bodies journey is different. Grief is just love - it's all the love you want to give but cannot. I hope you have plenty of support from your family and friends. ❤️❤️❤️
I totally agree I lost my husband 1 year ago in Dec. It is very tough and everyone grieves differently its really tough on my kids...But we have each other.

Many of us have gone through the same and please know, you haven’t always got to be coping. Some times we don’t cope, we break. But we get there in the end. I love ur videos, but this one has been the one to touch my heart, me and my dad are going to the allotment in a few days for the first time after my mums passing, she loved the allotment, was there everyday. So I’m struggling to get the motivation to go. But to know of someone who feels the same way and copes with grief in the same way as me in this time of year is just ❤️❤️

Awwww Gemma you made me cry talking about your dad at his allotment 😢 ......it was the year anniversary of my dad passing on 16th and as i live in Swindon it suddenly hit me that when i go home to Norwich eventually, covid permitting i wont be able to see my dad at our family home of 51 years! 😭. Oh god lets all hope that 2021 is healthy, happy and safe for everyone. Have a lovely xmas with your gorgeous Jamie and Tilly making precious memories in your beautiful home and i look forward to seeing your new fur baby in the new year 😻 x
Hi Gemma! I lost my husband in March right before Covid hit the U.S. It has been so hard. My three daughters and grandchildren have had a really rough time this year also. When I finally moved back after being in the hospital with him and living with my daughter for almost a year, I walked around numb for a month. Now it has been 9 months since he passed and things have gotten a bit better. But, you're right, you really do have to suppress your feelings or they will truly overtake you. So every day, I try to do at least 5 things on my list. This gives me a feeling of accomplishment that makes me feel better. I love your relationship with Jamie. He seems to be a great guy❤ Merry Chistmas to you both❤❤❤❤❤❤

We have a similar tradition in our neighborhood too. Santa comes through on top of the fire truck. There’s no Christmas music playing but the fire truck has their sirens on. It’s something we look forward to every year. It definitely brings out the kid in us.

I have said this before but I love your relationship with Jamie. A lot of men/women run a mile when a camera is out. I love the banter between the two of you and he just generally seems like a nice guy. I might sound a bit mushy here but I love seeing two nice people happy together! I'm sure they'll be fine....but it took me 3 weeks to introduce my kitten to my other cat, there was a lot of hissing spitting and growling so had to keep them apart! The kitten was in a separate room and then in a cage in the living room when I was home so I could watch them both...it was very stressful but worth it they are best friends now! Can't wait to meet him!!!😍

Hey Gemma, just wanted to say I was exactly the same as you, we just got a kitten for my other kitty to keep him company! At first it was hard, we had a week of me and my other half sleeping separate to keep each cat company and used the Jackson Galaxy method of introduction but now they are honestly best friends. They snuggle and give each other kisses, cannot separate them! I definitely recommend that method and honestly has put my anxiety to rest. Guys please thumbs this up so Gemma sees! Gemma I lost my dad a few years ago and how you grieve is different for everyone it took me ages to go into my dad's house just like your unsure about going to your dad's allotment you will be fine once you have been the first time it never goes away but it does feel easier as time passes less intense but you can always get hit by the smallest reminder xxx
