You have the exact same hair type as me and it's so great to see you go through your hair growth journey at about the same rate as me! The length you have now is right around my goal length and mine is slightly shorter atm but i'm getting there!

Love the hair, all those styles look good on you. I always have to put my hair in a bun/ponytail whenever I have bad hair days due to how thick, poofy, and frizzy it is. My hair used to be super bad years ago but I've found hair masks, leave in conditioners, and hydrating/moisturizing/protein products to really help it get less frizzy and healthy. Just be careful to avoid protein overload as this causes hair to shed/break more.

Half pony tail
My hair type is like Jesse's and I haven't gotten a cut in almost 3 years. Split ends and other damage appears to have travelled from the tips to about 4" from the root, so most of my hair now looks kinked, frizzy, and awful. I really don't want to cut it short and start over. Can a skilled stylist allow me to keep a long style? If so, what should I tell them?

I have the exact same hair type and is there any solution to this coz lets be honest this type of hair look very weird,dry grass type. I am fed up with my hair tbh. I want to cut my hair coz i miss my short hair bit at the same time i really want to grow it out. It just takes 2 days to completely mess up my after wash days. However., since I'm older,..the classic pony tail , or a braid , ...please no " man buns " ... I don't know where that came from. But I find it tooooo wierd, lol.. ( since I'm a woman, and am more " Old School " lol. )
I think long hair is fabulous, when it's well taken care of and worn in classic styles. ( but that's me. I've loved long hair on men since the 70's. When I was in High School. Yep. Long hair on men is my preference. )

My 12 year old son has hair that is past his shoulders. I think heâs at about 26 inches⊠it doesnât seem to matter which style I try on his head, it looks very feminine⊠even the styles you show here look feminine on him. Iâve been trying to get more creative because so many confuse him with being female and itâs honestly starting to piss him off. đ€Ł
Any tips for what we could be doing wrong? He still hasnât hit puberty yet so his voice is still Mickey Mouse-ish⊠Iâm sure once it drops that will help with confusion, but Iâm just trying to help him out in the meantime. Weâre running out of ideasâŠ

Get rid of the idea that you might be doing something âwrongâ. Heâs 12 years old. Iâm 25 years old⊠ALL hairstyles will look more masculine on me than him.
If heâs proud of the length and he likes it, thatâs the most important thing! Itâs likely that long hair will give him a feminine, youthful look for the next decade or so⊠nothing wrong with that!
