Yeah everybody else had some of the most absurd takes I’ve ever heard. They actually thought the Raiders and Broncos were going to be better in the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes being exposed without Tyreek Hill; Mahomes being an average quarterback, people were really disrespecting the Chiefs and Mahomes very hard. They were treating the Chiefs like they were an average team.

I'm only 27 but been a Chiefs fan since I started watching football. Back in the Priest Holmes, Trent Green days is when I started watching. To see how much this team has grown is incredible. And I missed some of the worst years. I was at the Week 4 Raiders game, first NFL game. What an amazing place to be, it was deafening. The atmosphere was insane. Everyone was so nice. Was worth every penny and I can't wait to go back. Couldn't be more proud of this team. Ignored all the doubt and hate. Never gave up hope, there were a lot of close, tough win games this year. Cheers to all in the Chiefs Kingdom and here's to many more rings. HOW BOUT THOSE CHIIIIEEEEFS!!!

This video made me realize one thing. The Chiefs played 20 playoff games this year. Every team was so fired up to beat them and they just powered through.
Well that helped the Chiefs too and playing all these close games plus at least 3 blowout wins helped put a ton.
Really love the Rich Eisen clips where he had to eat crow on his Raiders take.

Not a lot of fans can make the claims both you and I can make. In '63' I was 10 years old. That same year Lamar Hunt brought his then Dallas Texans to town. I already loved football, but lacked a home team to form a bond with. My favorite teams at the time were the Browns and the Packers. However, there was no real commitment to either. When either won I was happy, but if they lost it pretty much meant nothing to me.
Once the Chiefs came to town I committed. I loved it when they played. A win was pure joy. Loses resulted in agony. The relationship was very personal for me. It was like I was married to them. Each win, each loss was so much more than just a score at the end of an hour. Few things have meant as much to me as has the Chiefs. My marriage, my wife, my kids and little else has been such a constant in my life. No matter where I've lived, east coast, west coast or in between, my wife was my wife, my kids were my kids, and the Chiefs were my team. They are a part of who I am. I've not always been the best. Not husband, not father, not person. And neither were the Chiefs. However, if you keep on looking for improvement, stay committed, well, you just never know where you'll find yourself.
Today I look back on the past 60 seasons, just as I do with my own personal experiences and know it was all worth it. I have the best wife I could ever hope for, outstanding children now grown into extraordinary adults, and can now back up years-long boasting about my hometown team being counted among the best - if not the best - to ever play this game.
The Chiefs as an organization and team are unbelivable! Kudos to the amazing job GM Brett Veach has done the last 4-5 years with all his signings, his drafting, his scouting, outstanding job by him and his scout team. And big props to Andy Reid, Sprags, and Eric Bieniemy for their roles in the Chiefs run to these 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. Three SBs in four years, 2 Super Bowl wins, 5 conference championships, 3 conference championship wins, and 7 division titles. 5 won by Mahomes, 2 with Smith. His knack for manipulating the salary cap and not overpaying for players is a huge reason this team continues to compete at the highest level. He had the boldness to trade Tyreek Hill for 5 picks and he used those picks to rebuild the defense. Overall the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl without argubably the most electrifying receiver in the game is a franchise changing win for them, not to mention it solidified Mahomes/Reid as one of the greatest quarterback/head coach duos of all-time.

That game was crazy. I was there too. We got lucky and got seats in section 119 row 4. We was literally right there. Behind the players. Even leaving that place and having to go under the tunnel to the cars we had to wait forever and even then waiting it was no complaints. Best game I ever went to in my life so I know how you feel

I don't think I'll ever stop finding interesting tidbits about this past season, but here's another one: the Chiefs beat all 5 of their NFC opponents by at least 10 points. That tied Dallas and trailed only the 49ers for the most double-digit wins against NFC opponents in 2022. Including the playoffs, the Chiefs became the first team ever to beat 6 different opponents from the opposite conference in a single season; as a matter of fact, the last time the Chiefs lost to an NFC opponent was in Super Bowl LV.
Very fascinating! Since there's an extra non-conference game lately, there hasn't been anyone to beat six in a season, but five by 10+ points is wild.
Such an intense year for them, so many doubt the Chiefs grateful they won that’s speak loud

If your team is returning one of the few QBs then I don’t think it can be called a rebuild. Reload seems more fitting. To me teams rebuild when they for w/e reason don’t have the QB. But that’s exactly why you pay Mahomes the half billy. Bc every yr ya have him and Reed for the next 15 you’ll always have a shot.

It doesn't matter who a player is coming into the Kansas City Chiefs. Let them be fresh off the practice squad or a hand-me-down who just hasn't been given a chance to bloom. Each is reborn with this team, and they cannot not flourish, because that's the law in Chiefs Kingdom. Andy Reid lets every man be who he wants to be. For that reason, this is a team that's always going to win, even when it loses.
