Oct. 19, 2019---If interested in buying a plastic model truck kit built, see if there's an IPMS chapter near you. Just Google it. There's several guys in my modeling club who do commission work, but they are NOT cheap. Simply do the math. You provide the kit, tell the modeler you want just a basic job, nothing fancy. If I built any of these trucks out of the box, I'd have 20-30 hours into it and that's with you providing the kit. Even at $5 an hour in building the kit, you're looking at $100-$150, plus an extra $20 or so for paint and glue. And people actually believe these are outrageous prices.
