Come along with me as I get ready for a night out during Wave-Gotik-Treffen (a goth festival in Leipzig, Germany) back in June 2019. I actually filmed this, recorded the voiceover, and edited almost all of it back in the summer, but just never finished it! Until now :p

Sweetie idk if you know that already, but just to make it sure - skincare > makeup, if you really care for your skin you dont need use so much foundation or other stuff. Also as eyeliner bitch: always but some sticky thing on your eyelids before, like facecream or primer, it prevents smudges and drawing is like on canvas

When I go out dancing my face can get really red, and I also tend to blush a lot in social situations, so it's sorta a preventative measure lol 😅 but thank you for saying so! 💕

I myself have never tried the "Goth" look. However I love the look on anyone who wears it and knows how to style the look properly as you do. I believe people think its just as easy to throw on black clothes and black makeup and you're done but I see it as a form of art and you have to have time and patience to learn the style. Same here. I thought it was me not picking the right shade, but I tried half the drugstore by now and I still think it looks weird on me 🤣
One of the biggest issues I've had with lipstick is how sometimes it looks blotchy and uneven. I've seen other CZcamsrs combat that by pre-shading their lips with lip or eyeliner. Maybe that would help? I know black lipstick is so hard to find one opaque enough to look right.

I love how you leave in your mistakes and showing how frustrating makeup can actually be for some people instead of like other videos where everything is just fantastic. I'm usually a more casual metalhead (not a lot of band shirts, just a few patches, but a good size collection of albums)
recently grabbed all 23 albums by motorhead (lemmy has so much wisdom to bestow it's unbelievable!)

When I started with make up and had events to attend I always did the simplest make up looks. Once I knew I wouldn’t not fail 😄 Smokey eyes / grungy eyes was my favorite option because you can just put some neutral shadows on and blend the hell out of it and I looks like a look. Sometimes I have tried to try something new in the run but this just made me stressed and I also wanted to give up and remove everything. And then my mood was kinda bad.
When I want to try out new stuff I do it in my free time, then I can get the practice and also learn how products perform with each other and then there are no bad surprise when I need to get ready to leave somewhere :)
So I have a serious question. I'm a frontwoman (is there such a word lol) in a band and I often do and go to shows, so I love dressing up too.
I'm the opposite to you however, cause I love makeup, dark lips, colourful eyes and brows, etc. But I absolutely wouldn't feel safe in such an open outfit, although I want to dress sexy sometimes. How do you feel in public transport when you're dressed like that, and how do people react to you on fests, and how do you deal with assholes? So many questions :D

personally I loved the lipstick , cause she looked bomb with it.
Only thing I'd add to this outfit is an invisible uv highlighter, layer over inner corner and highlight cheek bones to sharpen them, it creates a skeltonesque aesthetic under uv light, especially complimenting the eyes, plus it also works on lips.
Do you get a lot of stares when you’re out in public in your every day life? Cause I feel like if I ever saw you in public I wouldn’t be able to take my eyes off you... you’re so pretty!

A tip that might help with liner, do your eyes before your face. Tape helps me with the liner! I don’t use actual eyeliner, I use black eyeshadow and it looks amazing!

I really like the look with the lipstick. I understand how you feel about feeling weird while wearing lipstick. I personally just pushed it out of my mind and I got so many compliments about my lipstick and it made me feel better about wearing it. I really liked it alot on you. You could try a black outline faded into a light pink center, shiny or matte it would be a cute way to start adding some color to your lips without being super bold. I used to wear black liner with a very light coral pink shimmer lip gloss when i was in high school and blended them together along the edge so it was a fade not a harsh line and it was my favorite go to until I ran out of the lip gloss and they stopped making it! Sad day lol!
