The way she said "flippy curls" has to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I'm not a big fan of that hairstyle, but damn she looks so beautiful at the beginning with her hair wet.
If you want Farrahs hair you need angled bangs and face framing layers, a 1and a half 2 inch barrel curling iron with the clamp curl away from your face, and blowdry your hair upside down to create the volume.
Love it. Farrah was the best person for this commercial. Back then, the word hair was another word for Farrah Fawcett-Majors. Her face, hair and name helped sell shampoo, hair dryers and more. Thanks for posting this classic. George Vreeland Hill
She was so daring and darling back then! Farrah, on your final years, you give us inspiration to keep fighting no matter how grim some circumstances are. We will not forget. Thank you for your contribution to entertainment.
LOVE FARRAH- She represents all that was beautiful and wonderful about growing up in the 70s-80s Those innocent times were SO GREAT! Thank you Farrah, I love you-rip
Wow! Farrah Fawcett and Angela Cartwright in the same commercial. Who'da thunk it. Ah.. the 70s. Adding a water spray thing on an electrical appliance. Who thought that was safe?
There's quite a difference between an iron and a hair dryer. Hair dryers aren't known for their safety around water. Electric irons are designed with that specific safety in mind. So, the logic I put forth absolutely follows.
abigguitar you're still wrong but I won't argue with you, have a great day and please stay away from products like this they might explode in your face. that's all have a great day .
My older sister and cousins had had a similar hair styler with water sprayer that can be attached to it ..In fact it was pretty sturdy and easy to use , in fact it was ruined almost deliberately by mean relative of ours :/ I learned to blow dry my hair with it , till now I use a similar styler - without the water sprayer - cause it just works for my very long , frizzy and thick hair ...
You're right. Angela Cartwright really did have an English Accent on Lost in Space. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. I actually thought that it as pretty funny to hear her attempts at an "American" accent on "...Space, when it is SO obvious that she is of British Heritage.
I own one of those and have for years. I have thick, curly hair, and the regular blow dryers don't work for my type of hair, it leaves it frizzy, but with this dryer it leaves it smooth, and fuller, and it is great for the Farrah' flip. Farrah was not just beautiful, but also a great actress. i loved all the angels. I miss Farrah.
She was so beautiful. She's on her death bed right now, she had her last rites read to her hours ago and her family and friends are saying their last goodbyes =( RIP Farrah..
I swear I used to have a hairdryer that looked just like this one. Mine was a bright orange. I also had a shick styling STICK. Haircare was a big thing in the 1970's when I was a kid.
@emptysatisfaction And b4 that, as a child (age 5 fwd.), Angela was Linda, Marjorie Lord's daughter on tv sitcom Make Room for Daddy. And in 1965, a von Trapp girl in film The Sound of Music. And at end of this commercial, in photo on Shick package is model (later actress) Christina Ferrare, four years younger than Farrah. A '70s girl iconorama!
I love Farrah, but I listened to this video 100 times and she definitely said "SHIT" LOL! ... ok, I lied I really didn't watch this video 100 times, only twice, but she still said "SHIT"
Ha Bitter it need to be cut a specific way in order to look similar to her hair, you need to get a shag haircut for your hair to do what hers does , then you just put rollers in.
what a fresh vibrant beauty she was, agreed that wet hair look is off the charts, can't believe she got bumped over in the commercial for another girl. this must have been before charlie's angels right?
GEEZ LOOK HOW FINE SHE WAS WITH THE WET HAIR !! IT'S FUNNY HOW WHEN U WERE A KID SOMETIMES YOU CAN LOOK BACK AND SEE PEOPLE WEREN'T AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU THOUGHT. BUT MAN FARRAH IS JUST AS AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL AS I REMEMBER AS A KID!! REALLY SPECIAL!!
it sounds like they're saying "shit" instead of "schick" lol love the 70's hairstyles
ikr XD

Me too lol

The way she said "flippy curls" has to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I'm not a big fan of that hairstyle, but damn she looks so beautiful at the beginning with her hair wet.
LOL farrah is so adorable in this "Two combs for FLIPPY curls!" RIP

Wow! Farrah Fawcett and Angela Cartwright in the same commercial. Who'da thunk it. Ah.. the 70s. Adding a water spray thing on an electrical appliance. Who thought that was safe?
abigguitar haha we add water to Irons....so....not a good logic

ODoomer0 - You are FUNNY! She is adorable, though, you have to admit. There is NOTHING not to love about Farrah. What a kind and gentle person!
Ahy yes...the Farrah Fawcett hair style from the mid 70's! All the Gals wanted hair like that!
My favorite part, and you nailed it!
I swear I used to have a hairdryer that looked just like this one. Mine was a bright orange. I also had a shick styling STICK. Haircare was a big thing in the 1970's when I was a kid.
