Yay! I love the big island. I feel so healthy when I go there. I didn't feel like there were that many vegan restaurants, but the plant life is amazing! So many wonderful fruits, too! Enjoy!

I would love to visit Japan, but is it really difficult to find vegan restaurants there? I'm a vegan too.

+Nerdy Bunny I heard vegan options are a bit harder to find but vegetarian options are not as difficult! But as long as you are aware of the ingredients being used it shouldn't be a problem :) A lot of dishes are also "accidentally" vegan and are not always labelled, so again as long as you are aware, it should be fine. I hope you decide to go, it is my dream to visit Japan!

Very surprised Hawaiian Airlines doesn't offer veg/vegan meal options for such a long flight! Pack your own meal next time (though with US rules, you'll probably have to make sure you consume everything before you immigrate).

Is the outdoor toilet a fully functional flushing toilet, or simply a Commode with a bucket, like those used in hospitals and nursing homes? From what I can see, there is no water pipe system installed.

If you still don't have a recipe for vegan whipped cream then here is one so you only need three things a chilled mixing bowl,coconut milk only this white parts so what ever you do o not shake the can but if you do just put it in the fridge over night to let it separate and put it in a did rent glass like a glass cup and the last thing you need is a little of powdered sugar and if it doesn't turn in to whipped cream then just add a little more powdered sugar

+colocolo Banyan Tree Sanctuaryという名前の場所で、オーナーもヴィーガンですし、キッチンもヴィーガンキッチンなので動物性の食べ物は基本的には持ち込み禁止ですね(^^)
