My Sheroe! When Kofi Annan died,a girl in Legacy Girls' College,the school I worked in at the time cried,and cried;and CRIED! He was her hero. She did not ever get to meet him in person. I understood her pain for I know what it means to have a real life sheroe(not the flying ones like Superman,Spiderman and Mowana(?) From age 19,I followed Ghana's Best-First-Lady-Ever through the media,doing my best to live out the words of some of the very speeches she's honoured with here! To meet her in person eventually was so fulfilling! She deserves the honour and I am so glad Ghanaians have not forgotten all her hard work and sacrifices! Some of us could not juggle parenting,family life and such hard work. She did! Knowing not everyone will like her is okay.
