Not until the end did I fully appreciate how nicely those headlights look with the bags under their eyes. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
The Daughter of Mr. packard was a private resident at a Nursing home I worked at. She was a funny lady. The grandson would come on weekends and take her out for a ride. The cars were incredible that he drove.
If you are still in contact with the family I think it would be awesome for Mike and his crew unveil the car to them and get some pictures, have The Packards sign the pictures and present them to the owner when the car is unveiled to the owner...

Funny thing is, you know that the way he was taught was "Just DO IT!" That lesson of "figuring it out" has served him well over the years, and the people that have a Bello's-fit custom ride are BLESSED!

Hey Big Steve another cool vid that is one cool ride its ugly but it works. That is going to be really unique when it hits the road I would just paint it a matt finish rechrome every thing it doesn't need a flash paint job its the lines that make that car. Thanks Mike awesome work again. Liking the look of the chev in the back ground that chop you did really flows nicely be nice Big Steve to get some footage of them out side so you can get a long distance shot so we can get a better look at the full car. We have our beach hop here in New Zealand this weekend going to be five days of car heaven will try and get some footage so others can see a bit of our car scene here. 😁🇬🇸👍

The design concept to use different parts from different cars is impressive. But, the follow through to completion is freaking outstanding!!!
Your a master, you follow thru and dont compromise the design. The videos don't show the hours spent to make a masterpiece. Glad Carapila is back you got to have a righthand man.
The man knows how to make patterns and use all the metal forming tools from the golden age of one-of-a-kind car body creation.

When this video was uploaded we were watching the six nations Rugby which is my wife’s favourite so I had to content myself by watching it on my phone

Glad to see Carapila back, he must of had a spa day or something. Those headlights turned out killer but for me that grill shell is bad ass. The whole package is like it was ment to be. Those headlights work well. The top curve mimics the trademark Packard bump on the top of the radiator shell. It's making something that is not often seen. How many guys don't even know what a Packard or a Studebaker is????
Packard remind me back in 1959 on the ranch in Northern Cal. In the barn the owner left at 39 Packard four-door three on the floor I used to sit in there and pretend I was driving all the time.
It ran tell my one of my aunts came to visit the ranch best practicing driving at the orchard stuck a branch to the radiator put it back in the barn that state parked in there forever. Well until 1966.
But I thought the four-door was cool gangster style.

well mike looks like a bug-eyed monster , but most of the car from those day where bug-eyed monsters .
but some how you pull those lights off perfectly they match the fender line absolutely perfect mike it definitely needs a grill to see the true vision of what you see mike .

Such a dramatic change . Those lights make that Packard look so much better than they did from factory ,you have so many old school parts that makes your projects authentic like back in the day when custom guys just went to Junk yards and used imagination to get things that they could fit into a project . Your videos are the best ones I see on old school customs God bless keep the real Kustoms alive .

I see Mike got hip to the HF magnet lights ! Good lights at 1/3 the price . Snap On should have gave you a box of theirs ! Those Studebaker lights belong there . I'll bet the body shop loves coming in behind your work , you make their hard work easier to do .

Nearest I can think of for the bumpers is late '30's bigger series car/limo. The earlier ones had like a knob thing on the ends of the bumpers. Looks fantastic Mike, another work of art - the front view looks super powerful.
