Hello I am a 63 yr old mom of two. I was a type 1 Diabetic from age 6 and went through two very successful pregnancies. I also wore a pump. Thank you for sharing this. My two living miracles are the joy of my life.
I also am a type 1 mummy. I struggled with low bloods my entire pregnancy. My birth story is horrific. I was overloaded with fluid by my hospital, when Bub suddenly stopped moving, had emergency failed induction, then an emergency c-section. Bub was born at 35 weeks, he went to early baby care, I went to ICU for 3 days. We are lucky that I in particular survived. Not everyone has a bad experience however. A lot of blame rests with the hospital being completely unprepared for type 1 birthing.

My babies were 9lb12oz, 10lb2oz, and 7lb11oz. I had gestational diabetes but wasn't diagnosed with like normal diabetes till 2020. My babies are 22 yrs old, 19 yrs old and 16 yrs old.
I haven’t seen dr Paul for at least 3 to 4 years I had no idea he retired!!!
Only 15 % in Norway have c-sections, but thats because it's free and only those really needing it gets it.

I hear U on that one. I experienced something similar. Type 1 pregnancies are unique, I wish more education for doctors was available to help us. I ended up only having one as I just couldn't put myself through the trauma of doing it again.

Someone told me a couple years ago they heard if women kept having c-sections that eventually women would not be able to have vaginal births at all. As the patient said women's bodies are made to do that. People have some strange ideas. Even if people decide to have c-sections for convenience their bodies still have the ability to have a natural vaginal birth. Duh to whomever came up with that concept.
Yeah, completely agree. Besides, c-section recoveries are far from convenient!
