Coaches, teammates and lawler himself would have planned everything meticulously in terms of diet /training /sleep to have everything be perfect on fight day. Imagine lawler cutting calories in the final days to make sure he comes in at 170. Cutting calories = energy deficit. Energy deficit = less time spent on training. Then 3 days before he is told, its a new weight because nick doest wanna fight on the agreed upon weight.
