There's also the fact that Ronda spent a lot of her life essentially only playing Pokemon and intensely practicing judo with a hypercritical mother. I don't think anyone could have been prepared for the pressure that came with being the first superstar female fighter, especially when everyone turned on her after her first loss. Yeah her behavior is weird but I doubt many people can understand the position she was in.

I know that feeling she has of total complete confidence that she will win (that used to be me before sprinting events. I knew without any doubt I would win and I did). She is my favourite fighter! How can you not like Amanda? What a genuine person, unlike a certain other fighter.
She grew up in fighting. Her mother was a boxer. Uncles fighters in Brazilian Vale Tudo. Her sister fought - this is not new to her from a family of fighters. She's been in MMA for a very very long time and has more fights than Rousey. She's not new to this at all.
Amanda will prove she is arguably the best female UFC fighter of all time

She's so nice and relaxed and is taking it in her stride. I hope Ronda makes weight because I could see this not happening on a stupid technicality. If she does I think it could be a great fight but I'm a little worried for Amanda's ground game. Ronda has the best ground game in the business.

Great interview! Glad to see Amanda get some face time, she may be too tactiful and polite to say it, but her missing her first oppurtunity as champion to go through media days/interviews is kind of messed up. Also Rogan is right most of the promo's have minimal coverage for Amanda. But like she said all she has to do is go in and win and it should up her status and therefore wealth substantially.
Also anyone else notice Ariel using his hands way more to kind of describe the words he's saying. Not dissing on him, I do the same thing when talking to people where English isn't their native tongue, it's almost unconscious but still kinda funny all the same.
And with the same interview Ronda would have broken down into tears and peed herself.

I'm surprised why no one has asked Dana why he's suddenly changed his tune with Rhonda on fighters living up to their media obligations. He was certainly all gun-ho on it with Conor.

That is just what Dana does. He kicked a fighter from the ultimate fighter after it was already over, for kicking out a limo window. But he totally defended Rampage after Rampage went on a vehicle rampage and nearly ran people over driving on the sidewalk.
