Battlefield 4 TOW Missile Shots

- There is something oddly peaceful about sitting on a stationary TOW missile launcher in Battlefield 4. In fact it's probably the one feeling or experience that has stayed the same or been represented in the same way throughout the Battlefield franchise. Whether that was done on purpose or on accident I don't know :)

You'll have to more specific with what you are referring to as the video shows us talking to each other multiple times. Other times it's simply mus1ck reacting to something I did. If mus1ck uploaded videos of things he did it would include my vocal reactions.

Now selling the RTM (Ravic Tow Missile) defense system, for the low cost of a thousand pounds of salt from the tears of player unfortunate enough to not know that staying still in a game with Ravic and Tow Missiles= Death, you too can reap the benefits of being a menace to all aircraft, tanks, those pesky snipers on sniper hill! (Ravic not included, may experience dismemberment via headshot, death, and be banned by scrubs for cheating)
Ravic's little edits are so enjoyable. That transition at 5:10 was slick as well...
By far the best BF player THAT I HAVE SEEN (caps to prevent fanboy salt). A beast at every part of it. I honestly don't know how these chat moaners/ hack accusers don't know who he is haha
I'm new to using TOWs without SOFLAM, how do you hit targets when it's almost impossible to see the rocket? I.e. 6:08
Another question was if graphics played any part in being able to see the rockets over far distances? I have the unfortunate occasion for having a simple old-gen console, so the graphics settings are pretty low for it, especially the rendering distance.
Being a player on an Xbox 360 still, graphics don't really have anything to do with it.
I will say, that you need a fuckton of practice. I can hit vehicle's with TOW's, but it can still take me 2-3 times to hit them. I will recommend using a SRAW in the Test Range and repeatedly taking out the drones from different angles.
Explosive Cobalt18 When you practice enough- yiu don't really need to see the rocket, you just feel "oh that's going to hit"
and never ever play on ultra lol, only mesh on ultra, everything else on low (I personally run textures on high cause vechicles look way nicer, and it doesn't block my vision)

In a normal game, something that is AA is usually either a Tunguska or LAV-AD. Ravic's idea of AA is a TOW missile launcher and a fucking cruise missile launched from a super sonic bomber.

tow tutorial please! I cannot for the life of me get the hang of it. Determining where the tow is in relation to distance is really difficult for me. I think I'm on target and it sails right in front or behind them. I think I'm way off and boom, it hits.
merickful just screw the crosshair- look at the missile and go from there. You'll be good at it in less than a month ;)

Yeah, that's what everyone says... It's now been 4 or 5 months I've been actively trying. One of those aspects of BF4 that I'm unable to tackle. Just like choppers. Oi Vey
merickful Lol there is nothing else to it... I didn't know that you have to look at the rocket, but when i got to know it- in just a few days I got to the point when if a heli is flying in a predictable matter (even at long range) - it was a free kill. If you are having a struggle then mayby try to use magnification, makes it a bit easier to hit targets at first. And if it will still be impossible for you, then i don't know how to help you lol... Mayby you are just too bad at the game ;)
