I recommend a fun song "Mic Drop". Then for a complete change of genre and style "Black Swan". To help people get cheered up at the end of the worst of the pandemic... they recorded 3 English speaking songs. So all the English speaking world could be encouraged too. "Dynamite". "Butter". And "Permission to Dance". Those are all fun light hearted songs. But before that they have songs with deep meaning and inspiration and insight into the plight of the common man. Enjoy. Every song. They all will surprise you. How good they are!!!

The first singrr, in white, was Jimin and the one you thought was Jimin was J hope, one of the rsppers. I guess you recognised JK when he sang those soaring notes.
Ok as they appear in order Jimin in white with blue hair then V in white with black hair then we get RM Rapping. Then Jimin again with Jungkook Then Jin steps infront of Jungkook and Jim. Jin is black with a blue/whitish jacket. They you get all 7 members. Then you get J Hope Rapping in black followed by Suga (aka) Rapping Then V and Jimin again. Then group together again. Then Jungkook singing got no fears I'm taking over . Then Jimin who jumps over Jungkook. Then the dance break.
They did a live of this in Grand Central Station in New York for the Jimmy Fallon show.

As a West Indian 'Army Mom' (56 yrs old) discovered our boys since 2016 and never looked back. As a new fan or 'Baby Army'? I'd suggest watching 'A Guide To BTS' by Taylor Marie. It shows each member in depth and their journey from the very beginning. Once you've seen it? You'll better understand who each member is before delving into their extensive collection of songs/musicvids/live shows etc. As a S.Korean band...many peeps have diff ways of watching their vids. For me? Their dancing is so amazing? I prefer to watch a new vid without captions so I can soak in their dance moves? Then on the 2nd watch - add captions so as not to be distracted and can understand their lyrics. To each their own. Meanwhile - welcome to the largest family in the World. We 💜💜 you and look forward to your journey down The BTS Rabbit Hole..

..Some important facts that I wrote down some time ago and I thought you could/should read it too
I just watched your reaction to "On". Why are they saying Bring the Pain On? Its because they knew they could handle any other Pain brought to them. You have no idea how many haters they had, people accusing them of lip syncing, plagarism, copying concepts from other groups, that they didnt write their own songs or rap, and worst of all receiving death threats. They've been through it all and have survived all! So Nothing. NO Pain can stop them! You asked us to recommend songs. I laughed, but I understand your new. They have over 10 years of many, many songs and albums for you to choose from. If you don't want to go in chronological order....then watch what MV's people recommend on here. And just so you know when I found them. I knew Nothing. I just got on CZcams and watched whatever popped up...in no order. It's important for you to know these guys are true musicians. They are Not your typical KPop group. They sing every genre. And it's ok if you just found them. Many in the world have no clue. But now you can share them with others. But know there is still a prejudice against any KPop groups and some people may scoff at you and make fun of you.

They have been together for 13 years, performing for 10. You need to watch Taylor’s guide To BTS….get to know our guys. They are phenomenal performers, vocalist and rappers. BTW…that’s J-Hope (my ultimate bias aka swag king dancing king) you thought was Jimin.
Almost all of their official videos have English Subtitles if you turn on the closed captions. BTS made their reputation by the deep lyrics of like, 90% of their songs. They do have a few “Twinkie” songs (just sweet sugar and empty calories with no nutritional value) but this song is not one of them.

Glad you enjoyed your first BTS video. I’m not going to give you song recommendations as ARMY will inundate you with those. The truth is you could pick any BTS song from any BTS album and you would most likely really enjoy it.
Instead I’d like to give you a couple of tips
1. Learning which member is which. Don’t go by appearance- rather try to associate the voice. BTS has 3 rappers so if you hear some rap it’s either RM, Suga or j-hope. Each is unique in style yet they complement each other well so their verses can often be back to back. Then you have the vocal line; Jin, Jimin V and Jung Kook. All 4 are fantastic singers, again each have their own distinct charms whilst still blending beautifully. Jung Kook is the main vocalist. In BTS that means he is the one most often doing the harmonies and adlibs. V is a baritone, with a rich deep voice but who can also effortlessly hit the higher notes. Jimin & Jin are the two most likely to be doing the very highest notes. Most people notice Jimin first because he has a unique tone to his voice but over time you’ll realise Jin is amazing too.
2. BTS are one of those rare acts who are as good as live as they are in the studio. I personally think they’re better live as they give off such good energy it really enhances their performance.

You should see the performance of this Live at Grand Central Station, NY for one of those late night shows - Jimmy ..... You can tell they performed it Live if you watch to the very end as they were all exhausted. It's great! There are some behind the scenes for this MV. Did you know it was filmed near LA and was really hot when they filmed this, they used part of UCLA marching band, and a gospel choir for backing vocals? Others gave some great recommendations! The one you thought was Jimin was actually J-Hope (their Dance Leader and one of the 2 Main Dancers). Jimin was the first guy in white that started the video off and jumped over Jung Kook after his solo part. V was the other one in white.

I just subscribed to your channel as I enjoyed your reaction. I definitely recommend watching A Guide to BTS, updated version by Ida S. I found that it was one of the best ways to get to know the members, their song writing credits, and their roles/ skill set within the group. They change their hair color and style with each comeback, or new music. Watching this video gave me a deeper understanding of BTS and the cultural and emotive impact of their music and why they have tens of millions of fans.
My pick or suggestions of what music to listen to next is Mic Drop remix with Steve Aoki, (first MV I watched) Not Today, Danger, Run, (any song from their Dark and Wild album is lit), Fire, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Fake Love, Black Swan, Attack on Bangtan/Rise of Bangtan (Japanese epilogue) and DNA. Once you’ve seen all these MV’s you’ll be mostly prepared to watch their mind blowing performance at the 2019 Melon Music Award show or MMA.
I really think that their entire concert in Busan in 2022 is exceptional. They did their very best performance that night and then they announced the next day that they would move forward with their mandatory military service. Jin, the oldest member, joined the military in early December 2022. J-Hope followed in February of 2023. Suga joined in September, and the remaining members, RM, V, Jungkook, and Jimin joined in December. As of
December 2023, all 7 members are currently serving in the military. They are doing this so that they can come back to their fans, the Army, by 2025. They love us so much as we return their love. The song, Bulletproof the eternal, speaks of the loving bond between Army and the members.
Finally, I found that the best way to get to know them and their personalities was to watch their variety show, Run BTS. There’s at least 156 episodes and they’re hilarious. Each of the members are kind, funny, and humble. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy getting to know them and I will look forward to your reactions.
Hey friend! I just want to say that you seem very nice, and I like your energy. However, not to be too negative but it is a huge pet peeve of mine when reactors spend more time staring at themselves in the camera than they do watching the video. I say this gently and with love, but you’re not on The Office lol. It was nice to see you vibing, and I’m glad you seem to dig BTS, but I really think reactors in general should rethink prioritizing trying to be dramatic or funny with their reactions over just being natural and genuine and paying attention to the video they’re watching. I hope you don’t take this negatively and I’ll check back in on your journey in the future sometime.
