I have used ring or disc-bound planners, half-letter or A5 size, for decades, and I loved them for their flexibility! Now I am wanting to down-size into something smaller and more portable because I find that I just don't need so much space! While I love decorative planners and can justify having multiple notebooks/planners for different purposes, I really am trying to simplify. I have been using blank notebooks or undated inserts lately, and that has allowed me to experiment without guilt! I love to spend money, but I hate to waste it, so going with undated inserts or blank notebooks was a great way to experiment in 2024! I am using a B6 Notebook as my Main Planner with a Passport-sized TN as a "purse planner." I am using my old disc-bound supplies for sewing projects, and my stash of blank A5 notebooks for every-day journaling and my faith journal. I already have an A6 Blank Notebook set up for 2025, so I can eliminate the "purse planner."
Thank you so much for watching 💜💜.. I can totally see why you would want a simpler setup, but these one seem to be working for me currently. My days are busy & I need all the space, I think we should adapt to our personal needs & make the planners work for us no matter what size or layout they are. Undated inserts are perfect for that !
I like to stick with a planner from January to December too. I have just added a journal to my line up which can be used whenever I want. It’s nice not to have dates to have to stick to. Can totally relate to feeling guilty about planners going unused!

I abandoned my Skinny Mini a few months ago. The only mid-year change I have is switching from regular size LD vertical to mini!
I have been intrigued by the Mini, I’m afraid it might be a bit too small for my needs as I write big. What are your thoughts on the size comparison between the OG & the Mini ?
