I love the slow motion raley off the ramp! people here don't know what raley is... it's like a superman but with handle, I would love to do that on barefoot but I am scared to try haha but I do in wakeboarding is good enough for me! :-P

that is not an air raley. if you where to do that on a wakeboard it would be but it is normal form for a barefoot jump.

I Started bare footing when I was 18 and stopped 3 years ago at age 55 when I blew out my ACL and MCL. At the beginning of the season my feet would get big bruises on them. Big sticks also hurt when you hit them. Broke eardrum twice. I learned to barefoot by reading a book, never owned a boom, so for me it wasn't a pain free sport but I still love it. Great Video!

Classic question, what do you guys do for a living?
They are professional athletes in Barefoot waterskiing. They have barefoot waterski school and teach people to do things similar to this video. Obviously toned down for the beginners.
Lauren St. Onge Barefoot water ski school? Never heard of that! I'm on a competitive ski team and some of us barefoot pretty often. Pretty hard on your feet though!

Just wondering, does barefoot skiing require alot of skill? because from the video it just looks like all you need to do is stand up at an angle to be able to do it.. idk
In a manner of speaking you are correct but you have to be able to hold that angle and position while the boat pulls you at 40+ miles per hour. Check out the behind the scenes video and you will see the crew trying to do it. It is not as easy as these guys make it look.

Hello, it's WATER. Like what they use to COOL processes that create heat.
When it is done correctly there is no noticeable heat build up.
phkemp its doesnt matter how cold it is, any substance, no matter how cold, can cause burning from intense friction

I know that the things you use are not cheap but still i i''m sure that verry big film company's need to have a billion people to make this kind of video's. And you just need a glidecam and a camera. (it may be a very expensive camera and Glidecam but still) Its amazing what you do and keep doing it. Its amazing!!!
