Hey! Love these videos where we look back in time and talk of the perfumes everyone raved about, when youtube went feagrancevcrazy😅
Cant keep up with all the new they are spirting out 🌸🙏
Great video!!
Just found your Chanel, I’m a fragrance collector and really enjoyed your video presentation, thank you for sharing your wonderful perfumes 😊
Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos 🥰
Thank you for sharing ❤Love Tuberose has to be the creamiest scent I have ever tried... feels like butter! I used to love blind buying, that dopamine rush, but now I'm trying to test before buying, especially niche.. We'll see how it goes in 2023 😄
It is creamy! I'm struggling to decide if I should keep it or not. I just haven't reached for it much, but it's so beautiful 🥰
My hobby picked up during the pandemic as well. I like your style of review. I'll be subscribing ✌🏾
Thank you ☺
I liked Sí Fiori when I tested it before, but not so much that I wanted to get a bottle.. we still have Fiori here in stores. I sprayed it in me while in store a week ago and really enjoyed it… may want to get a small bottle of it..
💕
I’ve been looking for a bottle of Si Firori- where are you located that they still sell it?? I’m in NYC. Thank you!
@@01Angie10 i’m in Iceland 🫢
@@PaolaBianka I love Iceland, went there a few years ago- best trip ever! Now I need to go back so I can also buy this perfume 😁
Hello JD,
I found Rouge Malachite comes alive in the heat of Summer. It's not the same in cold weather. Hopefully you will enjoy it much more in hot weather.
The Guerlain Gourmand Coquin sounds gorgeous. I actually put my name on the waiting list and I hope to hear back sometime this year about being able to purchase it myself. They said the waiting list for it is long. 😅
I am curious about the Narciso Musc Noir Rose. I can struggle with certain clean musks and have to be pretty choosy. I think the thing holding me back from testing this, it is that some reviews have suggested that the performance is poor. I do expect 5 - 6 hours to be happy with performance unless it's a citrus freshie. That being said... I think our taste preferences might overlap and so I may go seek it out to test it. I am learning not to blind buy. 😆
Amouage can be challenging. The older fragrances are pretty complex. The newest lines are tamed down and quite wearable but still powerhouse perfumes. I am still exploring the brand and want to get some more (I only have one) but you have to be in the mood for them because they are not easy reach perfumes and they are very costly. They are beautiful works of fragrance art.
As to some of the sweeter fragrances. I can be overwhelmed when a fragrance is too sweet. I don't prefer them. I own very few sweet fragrances. They are cold weather only, under a lot of thick layers of clothing. I don't dislike honey, but again I have to be quite choosy. It works for me in Amouage Crimson Rocks because the pepper and rose seem to balance the touch of sweetness from the honey note.
I feel the same as you about coconut. I don't
have any frags with that note. I sometimes wonder if one of the coconut water note frags could work for me because it would be lighter and less cloying. There are two I want to eventually test out. Creed Virgin Island Water and Malibu Party in the Bay (which a lot of reviewers seem to think is the better option). Sometimes I like testing so I can form my own opinion on frags even if I don't buy a bottle of them.
Thanks for your video!
Have a super weekend!
~ Jenn
Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely looking forward to trying Rouge Malachite once it warms up.
I recently got a sample of Amouage Overture and Interlude. I think they smell so beautiful. I think once I get through both samples I'll know which one I want to purchase for the year. I think I'm leaning towards Overture though. Thanks for watching 🥰
Rouge Malachite is definitely yummy in spring and summer, it’s beast more too! I used 4 sprays and my friend told me she could smell the cloud.
Love Narciso rose noir to. have a 50 ml. To and allmost empty😊
Would LOVE to get my selv a decant of Oud bouquet to. It was to much for me ind 2020, but my nose has eveloped a bit since then.. Its a master piece !
Oud Bouquet is so beautiful! But it's definitely potent and not always an easy reach lol
New subbie enjoyed the content 💕💕💕
Thank you! 🥰
Hello Luv, where did you purchase Gourmand Coquin????
From Place Vendôme. @SharidaM did a video on it. You can email them and get on the wait list. When they get more in stock they will email you to see if you want to place an order. It was actually a really seamless process and the gentleman that helped me was amazing 🥰
@@jd_lifestyle Do you mind sharing how much it cost with shipping? That would be greatly appreciated❤
@sweetpeace5 I don't remember the exact price because there was a currency conversion from what I remember. If I had to ballpark I'd say it was around $345?...and I didn't pay anything for shipping. Not sure if it was built into the price or I got free shipping for spending over a certain amount. But the price quoted was all I paid. No extra tax or shipping. And the rep sent me a link to pay through. It was a seamless process but very different from purchasing here in the States. And my order was delivered very quickly. Took less than a week 🥰
