This KM-2296 looks extremely well built. I like the size of the motor and the padding around it. Also, the circuit board and wiring look well laid out. The battery is also 2500mAh which is great. I was thinking about going with the KM-1856 for the same price but I like the solid, simplicity of the KM-2296.
If the Kemei clippers had a way to easily replace the battery I would continue to purchase them. They seem content with designing their clippers this way... smh
you can buy the 18650 battery you want to upgrade this one and do a replacement. Needs special care to solder it good. Maybe an electrician to have it done @@smidc

2600 is almost a part for part with wahl. I have the new model with a square motor. Different connector than wahl but it's still plug and play
I wonder if I can buy an extended life battery and solder it on. Wahl batteries always have the wire attached with the connector on the end.
