The video that illustrates this is when a guy is interviewing a really attractive woman and average looking guy. He is obviously in the friendzone so the interviewer asked the woman if a man came and attacked her would you expect the “friend” to risk his life to protect her. She said yes with no hesitation. The interviewer then asked what equal benefit is he getting in return for risking his life? She was puzzled and started stumbling on her words. She couldn’t provide an answer at all. She knew she is getting “boyfriend” benefits without doing anything in return.

Even if she does find you visually attractive or appealing in other ways, it’s not enough to motivate her to want to give anything with you a chance. Sometimes you are still trying to figure out who this person truly is because of past trauma. Some females may have dated a guy before that started off being nice and doing nice things for her but then later once she decided to date him things changed. Friend zone doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t like someone but more so if I start to date you will things change, and if so I’d rather be friends. Friend zone really allows both parties to learn who each other are.
