    Nice one!
    That lure calls for a dedicated tail mould!

    Great looking bait. Congrats on the nice bass!!!!
    I too am a freeloader fan. I searched high and low for a mold to fit my needs
    I settled on the Hog Salad 4.4" Dangler. In some instances it fished even better as the tail has more action.
    It looks from your design you are keyed in to what makes these baits really perform.

      Kearby Design & Manufacturing has a bait almost identical to the Freeloader. They call it the cheater. Check it out if you’re wanting something just like the freeloader!

    Looks great! Thanks for letting us all know the price range I was curious on custom molds.

    I stopped using loop knots after having the line break inside the loop. This is caused by abrasion from the hook moving. I have known others that have had the same experience. Also, I saw a CZcams video testing different knots in a test tank there was virtually no difference in the action between a standard knot and a loop knot.

      Yes but there is a video that shows there is virtually no difference in action. Old fisherman's tell.

      @lastswimcustoms  Před měsícem

      Yeah I just prefer a good standard knot like the one I used here. I don’t feel like I gain much from a loop not on baits like these.

    Man those came out beautiful! I’m wondering if anyone has thought of a mica/ flake that would give better return on FFS. I’ve seen like the highlighter version, but for us bait makers that would be extreme

    • @lastswimcustoms
      @lastswimcustoms  Před měsícem +1

      Thank ya! FFS boosting flake would be a million dollar idea for sure!
