Damn that engine sounds so good. Those brakes tho
Have to love the predetermined route too. lol

the brakes! ahhh!
Kevin Vazquez lol ikr its kinda annoying
Kevin Vazquez At first I thought it was a carbon ceramic thing but usually that stops when they warm up.
They are Steels...new pads were just put on, so its possible the techs didn't put enough high temp grease on the backs of the pads. Going to reinstall to dial that back a bit!
It's either that, or they're abrasive pads.
A lot of high performance pads squeal all the time. There's nothing you can do unless you want to switch to a colder pad
Porsche makes the most fun and pure sports cars without a doubt. Nothing in the world drives like a porsche and god bless them for sticking with the manual transmission. They're the only company that actually listens to what their customer want.
Do you even Lotus?
When driving the really loud cars, it would definitely help if you could lower the gain substantially on your handheld recorder before shooting these. Please never stop making binaural POVs, not enough people are doing this.
nah dude.. we like it loud.
@@spoolyz0296 It would only benefit you. The audio is clipping when the exhaust valves open. He is talking about the gain on the mic, not how loud it sounds when you watch the video.
The problem with just lowering the gain would result in a poor representation of how the tone at it's nearest point would sound.... As a Music Producer/Sound Engineer if I were to fix this problem I would limit the threshold of the peak and bring up the lower volume points with a compressor.... its not just as simple as lowering the gain. If he did that you guys wouldn't be able to hear him speak....
@@spoolyz0296 That's really not fixing it, more like bandaging it. If he is only using a 2 mic setup for binaural than your option is all he has. The car and voice need to be recorded with different mics and then carefully mixed in imo.
@@TurboDank420 I was just about to say the same thing. Dudes just slap Binaural on the videos and dont even know what it means.
It's worth noting that this car is equipped with an RSS center bypass and EvoMS headers + test pipes.
A rear section too?
I like it how the sound changes erratically and intensively when he reaches 4k rpm, bloody amazing.
That sounds glorious!!! Just can't stand the sound of those ceramics lol
Not ceramics. Ceramics usually hardly make any noise. These are steel brakes just with very aggressive pads detestably too aggressive for the street.
That's a nice Accord you got there stranger
Exactly! Finally someone that knows what's going on. those pads are for track days. just need to replace them...
Bern on Cars those are steel.
I love the sound difference between slightly on the gas and fully pressed accelerator pedal. God this car is a dream!!
Сбросом передачи и повышением оборотов,подрыв промто
Mezger engine will forever be missed. True motorsports engine in a road car :(
What a beast! The GT3 is ridiculously good!!!
997 mk2 is the best IMO. Hydraulic steering, short wheelbase, manual downshifting.. And this car just screams
Sounds fantastic!!!
Ikr
I can't breath when he up shifts at 12:25
Iam saving my money to be able to buy this car......absolutely love it!
It's one of the last analog drivers cars.....a manual....small body...great looking...combined with the legendary reliable Mezger engine!
Thank you for this video....I was waiting for a video like this!
Did you get it?
instantly gave a like. Amazing. Thank you for posting
litterally had this at full blast wearing my headphones
I also enterted this video with a flacid penis...and now i am leaving with a flacid penis.
if you catch my drift
you win. you...you win.
Hahaha thanks, awesome driving BTW.
Instantly, is it about 4.1 seconds? If you know what I mean
3:28 when your car is fast that cops actually run away from you
Or he justs ran the red lights to have the time to install a speed gun at the side of the road further away, after seeing that GT3, maybe ? ;)
He needs the headstart
The cops couldnt stand the sound of the brakes
THIS IS pure porn
that engine sound to me is better than any v8 no words for how good that sounds..but on second thought, the c7 z06 sounds pretty damn good
Your videos made me go from hating Porsche's to this being my dream car
I love that you don't talk so goddamn much in your videos just to talk. Other channels I've watched just can't help themselves apparently.
Thumbs up for the brake squeal, never gets old
wow 52,000 miles, was this a daily
It's a 997 GT3. Trust me, if you'd own one - you'd drive it A LOT. :)
thee Mitchi I definitely would but you know typical Porsche drivers or people that have the money to buy these things just care about resale and they don't drive them
That is only the 991 GT3 R buyers
thee Mitchi Damn right. I could never own a car like this and not drive it to protect its value. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed. Not stuffed into a garage for 10 years.
It's the owners only car so yes
The most fun I've had this week. The aircooled is a Siren, singing a spell that has captured me. TY
Can't get enough of this car, I've watched this for the third time already
Its like train brakes wtf
Loved the cyclist pro tip lol. Very true, lots of us are car enthusiasts too!
The problem is mist cyclist are clowns blocking the roads
Holy Mother of GOD! That thing sounds Freakin AMAZING
11:50
feel the grips
Magical sound !
Bringing this car home tomorrow thanks to you @tedward
i grew up in Newton, so its always cool to watch these videos and see you blowing through my home town in some cool car lol
I used to run race pads on my STi.....I actually miss the squeal😂....I miss the stopping power even more👍. This thing is an absolute dream! If I owned it, I would put a ridiculous amount of miles on it. I would not be satisfied until the odo turned over 100k miles.
flat 6 sounds so good. They finally gave Cayman/boxsters power, yet they did it at the cost of replacing the flat 6 :( 2.7 liter single turbo would have been sick if they really wanted to half ass satisfy emissions laws and break into china with a small litre engine and still give caymans power.
Such an amazing car. And those roads look really nice too. Hope you had fun Tedward, even though I know you did :)
Amazing sounding motor. Love it!
Gloriousssss exhaust note 👌🏽
Thanks for this amazing vid!!
That glorious sound on the opening sequence
Yep ceramic brakes are for the track not the street.
Steels on this one. Pads are just noisy
When that vtech kicks in, yo!
One of my favorite channel! Sounds great!!
Dream car!
Awesome car I like the sound but the brakes lol
sounds magnificent
GT3 .. one glorious machine
Now I want a GT3
Porsche GT3 Owner: Your under arrest.
Cop: Oh Shit.
Love it! And I live in MA too
Andrew F same. I was like tf when I saw rt9 to worcester
Thank you for respecting the cyclists Tedward!
Thank you for the video. You drove the car the same way I would so the experience was even better. The exhaust felt a bit drony. I would baffled it juust a wee bit.
You got it man! Highway driving steady state wasn't bad for drone...it's no lexus though haha
Listening to it there is absolutely no drone in any rpm
I perhaps didn't use the right word, more of a raspy sound. But I love the sound! Maybe the mic clipped a bit idk
was very tough to manage audio on this shoot... It's as loud as you think it is
Well, mystery solved. I can imagine people giving you mean eyes as you drove by them ahah
fantastic car!good video
1:21 OMG that M3
haha thanks! tuned and a blast to drive as a DD
did u vid for her ? it is a DK or a 6MT ? if u did gimme the link plz
here is the POV i did on Winding Road..My channel also has a LOT on this M3 czcams.com/video/bGONpJqzmQg/video.html
thank you so much keep up the good work bro!
That's sensational....
Thought I recognized that parking lot and road from my recent trip to the Larz Anderson auto museum, Google street view confirmed that!
American: It's AWESOME owning a GT3 in the US.
German: Hold my beer
XD
Such an amazing and beautiful car! That thing begs to be driven hard and fast. It's just meh at "normal" speeds.
This car will shoot up in value soon! Mark my words! ;D
First i thought that BMW in the mirror was stalking you lol, but i guess he's part of your group :)
my m3...GT3 owner was curious so i tossed him the keys
Nice Nice video, very car amazing 👏👊😎
Please film a pov on a f40 or f50 or laferrari
How Can anyone even drive this with the valves closed😂
Fantastic like always! What camera do you use?
What a car
F I N A L L Y
Tedward, is the exhaust stock? Sharkwerks? Other? Thanks great video showing use of 997.2 GT3
I enjoy
Man, that's some car.
ahhhhh the brakes!
but oooooooooooo that exhaust!!!!
*drives porsche*
Encounters mr2 spyder
Tedward: is that a Carrera gt?
the beginning of this video literally made me jump from how sudden the audio was
Why did Porsche ever stop making manual boxes in the GTs? What a shame.
How to make this a perfect road car:
- Order some custom wheels that cut the tyre width in half
- Double the final drive ratio so you can use more than two gears ever
- Profit (if you happen to own a tyre company, that is)
Has anyone ever mentioned you and Stradman sound very similar?
I've heard that... and I did a video with him a few months ago on my channel in his Gallardo side by side. hmmmm maybe that was the true comparison
the brakes reminds me my first car -- a ten year old honda civic lx.
Amazing machine. I know the BMW behind you was part of your "crew" but i just wanna add that every single BMW driver does this, tail gate you where ever you go. Especially when you're driving a performance car. I get those idiots on my ass every single time i take my vette out. It's like enough already dude i'm not racing, you don't need to tail gate me thinking you're matching my speed when i'm not even pushing the car lol.
Okay I have to have one
That Mezger screaming
Awesome video as always! Where in MA is the twisty backroad that starts at 9:27?
holy crap i want this car
The cop could be on his way to a fight or theft or something and doesn’t want to use sirens and alert the suspects. As long as they look before they do it and not just run redlights “cuz they can”
im more bothered on the yellow stripe on the streering wheel than the brakes.
Nice
Man that Porsche sound so much better than Ricer Honda.
much improved camera position
Was the microphone mounted inside or outside the car?
2 mics. One in each ear of the driver for 3d audio experience.
Those downshifts sound so dramatic
Cool video. Car looks beautiful. Engine sounds were amazing. The brakes have got to go. Also, was he warming up his tires around 7:55? Wondered why he swerving. Demonstrating turning radius or agility maybe?
gorviv529 probably just feeling the car / bored.
Checking the steering response. The steering rack is actually kind of slow, but that's better for high speed I guess.
McMuffinFluffin ha! u may be right about that.
TassieLorenzo interesting. Thx for the knowledge.
Please, what binaural microphones do you use?
What’s with the brakes? Holy Cow
Is that around Natick, Massachusetts? Those roads look hella familiar
That back shift rev match needs some work. I know it’s not your car but it should take that many times.
This car has a lightweight fly wheel and a VERY sensitive throttle tune. You can hit redline with about an inch of pedal travel in neutral. It can be easy to judge them while watching but we give our drivers a LOT of credit for their ability to jump into custom built, and tuned cars and operate them.
The brakes are louder than the engine
Sitting at a red light when all of the sudden you hear those brakes thinking a garbage truck was stopping but nope...
Why did the dark car (Kia Forte ?) flash you?
Stupid question: are you using FOV on the Camera?
We use Sony Action Cams... This is the "wide" setting
Man, nice car but driving this in a country with so strictly enforced speed limits doesn't seem like a lot of fun.
1:29 4 liters? Are you sure about that?
Sharkwerks Center bypass?
dreams
Was about to say c'mon man, it's a Porsche.
Get on it! Or why bother.
