I don’t know about that. My first baby when he was a toddler came downstairs after his bath, and I had just made a cup of hot tea. I turned to do something and he made a mad dash for it and spilled it on his chest. I called the doctor devastated, and he told me not to worry, and put him to bed. I took him in the next day, and he didn’t think it was a second degree burn even though a few days later it definitely looked like a second degree burn. I was never reported. No one came to investigate because accidents happen no matter how careful you are it is hard to Bo on top of everything.
