Very nice! I liked how you used checked the check list out and handled yourself very professionally. Hard to believe it's your first solo. Congratulations!
@@nandezfj A Job it was Maintaining 12 Aircraft. 35 man hrs per 1 flt hr. 400hr high time motors not matched. Rode hard (overstress starts at 7g) put away wet. and then the Pounding and Slamming (Tire Popping) onto the Carrier Flight Deck like they made a Touch Down! Needles to say, Avionics is the #1 Down Gripe. The Piper is Simple and Beautiful. I cant look at Tomcats like that.
Great video....Thanks for posting it......I'm an artist and I sometimes do paintings of planes.....I have a painting of a J-3 called "Flying the Farm"......Your Super Cub looks great.....thanks again.
Wow - this is a VERY nice Super Cub! What's the story about that plane? And great flight! What an amazing area to fly! I'd love to fly around Columbia!
Well, I´m happy you liked it ! That´s a PA18A-150 year 1958 owned now by my brother and I + a couple of friends,,,great plane! and we fly near Bogotá @ 8400´ft ASL….some times a little hard through the thin air...
Have to tell you, that is one of the best Super Cub's I've seen. I love your panel and the paint is excellent. The plane looks brand new. Did you folks buy it in it's present condition or did you do the restoration yourselves? It's a true example of what a Super Cub should be. Thank you for taking us on your flight with you!
+Prairie Falcon , thank you for noticing it like it is.Actually it´s been with us in that condition for more than 15 years. We bought it from an old gentleman that always took real care of it.So, how not to love this machine ?.We got it with that paint scheme but it has been already overhaulled completelly (about 10 years ago)....we decided to leave it exactly as we got it, we love it like that too. Thank you again. Best regards, come fly with us any time! , Francisco
Francisco! Precioso avion!!! Me encanta!!
FJ.
Mr Rozensher, the aircraft is being flown at a location 8.500´ft ASL,that´s why you have to lean the mixture...otherwise you would not achieve the required power....(You can read a lot of how engines work at altitud without turbos, etc...) It has the Roberston STOL kit with the vortex generators and all....Flaps or No Flaps, my choice----I KNOW HOW TO CONTROL MY AIRPLANE CORRECTLY; mostly on 3 point landings...DO YOU? SHOW US
Thank you for sharing your first solo with us. We will expect more flying videos from now on
Nice watch, nice flying
Uno de los mejores videos del Super Cub que he visto en CZcams... felicitaciones, una aeronave fantástica y bien operada

Nice 3-point landing!
Don't underestimate the use of your carb Heat
Two years later, I totally agree and indeed I have - Thank you William
Max power takeoff?
Yes, we’re at 8500’ ASL
Altimeter says 8400 ft
8.400´FT ASL ; You´re right , Bogotá Colombia !
Q. What lingo is he speaking????? I can't understand a single word!
ESPAÑOL
No flaps
Yes Flaps, when ever I need them or I want them....
nandezfj My mistake, I see now the flap control is down low where I couldnt see you pulling them in
You don.t use flaps at all. Not while taking off and not during landing. I wonder why?
What about mixture? Why?
Learn to control the plane correctly.

You usually take off in a very small plane without flaps
