I always sing "I was broken for the longest time" instead of "I was broken for a long time." It makes more sense to me.

I hate comparings!!!...just stop it guys, we know that Marcus and Robert both done an amazing job, and they have different styles of singing, so let's not judge them, especially those who doesn't even know how to sing.. just enjoy the song and the lyrics..but i can't blame all of you..it's your opinion

It's his song.
He's the writer.
He puts the right emotion in it.
Plus his singing is so much better.

Jeez.. people.. both are GOOD in either way of singing.. they are freakin' two different people.. OMG.... of course he wrote it but even Sting will sing it in different style.. let's just freakin' enjoy it........... peace!!

I first heard the pattinson version but this is good. I can hear the emotion & tears came to my eyes again. I do like rob's version better but he is taking it from this & what a guy to try & copy

It's great to see the writer perform it after hearing Rob sing it so many times. I must admit, however, that I still like Rob's better, I think he makes it somewhat more cryptic and haunting than Marcus. It'sMarcus's lyrics and Rob's voice that to me make it as beautiful as it can be

@rpguidance1 Yes... one of the producer of Twilight even said that Rob is one of the most talented musician he ever met.. which is I agree since he played Carter Burwell's Bella's Lullaby for the first time, in the morning of the shooting.. WOW... HUGE WOW dude!!!
