কথায় কথা : একটি সাক্ষাৎকার : পণ্ডিত চিন্ময় গুহ যিনি কোলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইংরেজি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ও প্রাক্তন প্রধান , একজন প্রবন্ধকার , অনুবাদক, এবং ফরাসি ভাষা ও সাহিত্যের একজন পণ্ডিত সঙ্গে দেবজ্যোতি মিশ্র, একজন ভারতীয় সঙ্গীত পরিচালক এবং চলচ্চিত্র সুরকার।
ওনার কথাগুলোর মধ্যে যেন একটা খুবই মাধুর্যতা আছে। একবার শুনলে মনে হয় মন্ত্রমুগ্ধের মতো করে শুনি। আমার দাদা এনার ছাত্র ছিলেন।

অপূর্ব। স্যার সত্যিই আমাদের কাছে এক "বিস্ময়"। ওনার শব্দ ও কথা আমাদেরকে সুরের মঞ্চে উন্নীত করে। মন্ত্রমুগ্ধের মতো শুনতেই থাকি। মনে হয় একটা জাদুকাঠি আমাদেরকে স্পর্শ করে রেখেছে আর আমাদের সব কষ্ট লাঘব হয়ে যাচ্ছে। 🙏🙏🙏

I came to his association in my post graduate days , those days were really golden. CG sir taught us The Waste Land, Christabel and many more pieces of literature. I am feeling really happy, I am so fortunate , my life is fulfilled under his tutelage.

This interview may be slightly lopsided, but superbly lyrical. Because the anchor is from the world of music, he primarily approaches CG sir from the perspective of music, lyric, poetry and art. It will perhaps not be readily accessible to most of the Eng Lit folks who will obviously expect a different and more literary/critical approach, but I guess it was CG Sir's own decision to do this interview with him.
This is an interview with a perspective, and anchor does justice to that perspective. He is not just an academic intellectual, CG sir is a poet too, who is under-explored. This interview which is premiering right now is a rare opportunity to explore that poetic side.
