Those boats are indeed huge, Sir J! I was really surprised by their size when the drone shots came up. They seem bigger than the buildings along the shore.
It also made me curious that tourists are able to freely stroll around. That place seems so posh and exclusive.

Thank you Cris. Yes, the town is quite exclusive but of course very much open to tourists and visitors. It’s however also on the expensive side 😅
I’m going in February to saint tropez just to know and feel the place I live in Bellevue,Washington we have luxury brand stores here we’re not missing nothing in here

Thank you Ed. I did not stay in town. That place is incredibly expensive. Opted to stay a bit outside and drive in 😊
@@januslog myself, I enjoy being a budget travel guy since it brings us to different places but mostly since it's more of a way of more time travelling and allowing the opportunity of splurging occasionally with no regrets? Cheers my friend, keep on rocking!

Thank you for this wonderful tour of San Tropez. You show all sight of this famous sea resort. I know this place from the film ''Le gendarme de San Tropez'' featuring Louis de Funes. There are several amusing films with the participation of the gendermerie of San Tropez. The Police Station you show is the same as in the films.

Thank you very much! I’m sure you will love it there. Not sure about the distance but it’s a small town so you can easily walk to all major landmarks in no more than 15-20 minutes from the marina and port area. Happy travels 🌺

My channel is pretty much all about solo travel but the tips can of course be used for couples or families too 👍
The image is of course the expencive rich St.Tropez........its not intierly trou ; you have quite a number of normal price boutiques. You find MANY restaurants that offer a plat du jour at 22.- Euros........... and then you have the fancy brands .....

It is forbidden to fly a drone over St. Tropez, you should respect the law and people-privacy !!
This is news to me. Where is this marked? I’m usually quite diligent following drone rules. The official air traffic maps of France don’t show it as forbidden for drones. It did not even require an air traffic control permission. It’s too late now but I will respect it next time.

Lol,i live in this town for over 15 yrs and having flown a drone so many times in this port and citadelle and i have'nt seen any signs that says it's forbidden or i have been stopped by a police for flying a drone,they are not so strict here as long as you don't fly it over people..
