- Riding MTB slopestyle jumps made of snow is to good to be true! I meet up with Pro Olympic snowboarder Pat Burgener and attempt to ride my bike down a fully snow covered mountain and hit huge jumps too, will it actually work?
For episode 2 of Sam Metts Swatch I get the pleasure of meeting Pat Burgener a professional snowboarder from Switzerland and fellow Swatch team mate for an all action packed day of fun. We start off with some snow piste riding with my Canyon Spectral enduro mountain bike and meet Pat to see what he's up to while training for big air! We then hit the snow park and attempt a side by side backflip with me on my Canyon slopestyle bike and pat on his snowboard on a pure snow jump before making our way down the mountain to put Pat on a mountain bike. But will he be able to jump over me and survive the session?

When Pat said he wanted to jump Sam, it was at that point I think Sam thought I could possibly die or have a horrendous injury to show for this video but the true legend that he is, he put his body on the line and both he and Pat had one of the most epic moments in their lives as Pat flawlessly cleared Sam. The icing on the cake though was when Pat said afterwards that he wasn't sure he could do it. Solid gold right there. Now Sam being the surfer and skateboarder that he is, did not surprise me when he took to the snow board. Other highlight of the video for me was the side by side backflips. That was on point. Awesome video guys.
