Playing closer to the fingerboard is ESPECIALLY suitable for french impressionistic music, by the way! 🤗🎻
So nice to hear you play. Imo you are the most compelling young soloist in the world today.
Nice 👍
🧡💙💛❤
Very good
So I just got my violin literally... yesterday. About 16 hours from the writing of this comment. I have my first lesson on Sunday. I decided just for laughs to try and play a note. I actually got a sound that wasn't murderous screeching. However. It. was. So. Goddamned. loud. That I said to myself. I need to learn to play softly so I don't go deaf in a year.
Just wondering:, are you still playing?
Pro tip Where ear buds but don’t play sound
its a year since you commented are u deaf now😂
hi
I totally needed this for the concert that I have in a week the teacher didn’t explain how to do it and this pop out in my recommendation
oh my god it wouldnt be an exaggeration to say that this short is a whole revolution for me ajsjskdk theres a few that i didnt know amongst the tips you gave and after learning it, my playing changed drastically for the better!! i'm playing Lalo which, you know, has a lot of sul G passages and with the particularly high notes, the sound doesnt come out right and i struggled to figure out ways to fix it, and this has helped me so much 😭😭😭 thank you Sumina i'm so thankful for this, i havent had this much fun and excitement with practicing in a very long time 🥺🥺 i wish you the best!! 💖💖
Wow audio n visual
I really enjoy these videos about technique on the violin, thank you very much. For me, personally, some tips about what to do exactly with your thumb in the highest positions would be sooo helpful, since nothing I tried is really smooth, especially for position changes up there.
Your content is light but nutritious ❤
ok but this was actually so helpful, thank you so much😭
Mediocridad 😑
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate any help I can get especially from a professional...
(Also that smile at the end was so wholesome you could tell she enjoys what she does)

Thank you! I’ll try this because we got Impulse(a musical piece) in orchestra and I need to play with a more dramatic impulsive effect so this helped!

What kind of violin? Sounds beautiful
I know you were just demonstrating the bowing, but when you played the D E F# G F# E D. It immediately made me think of the last bit of the Mexican piece Jarabe Tapatio. LOL
Wow she's such a genius!🙄
What music are you playing throughout the video ?
What about the shoulder back and wrist pain
😍
🤗🎻
❤
we dont use pressure. We use “weight” (from the arm)
Comment for the algorithm
I need to email this to my teacher and be like: can you share this with the class? 🎻
I teach this as P.A.W.S. Position, Angle, Weight, Speed.
I've only practiced for a couple hours tops but then again I did buy my first violin 2 days ago I can't seem to figure out how to make my left hand work any advice
Ok so how much do you charge per lesson?😊
Thz ,I am a guitar player trying to figure out how to play violin
How do u put more pressure though?
HEY. What's the best way for me to practice these techniques? Could I just use scales to test these out.?
I want a violin, but i dont know who to choose, does someone has a good violin that can recommend me?
