Hi from Brazil! I've been doing yoga for over two months now and I still consider myself a very much begginer. I've alredy been into challenging places over triying to maintein a consistent practice, was it for getting on my period or not being able to focus on the mat, but, I just learned to start again and be present, and not to let theses moments of indecision define my practice. Now my dillama has been about flexibilty, it is hard not to compare my progress, but I'll defet that obstacule too. I'm trying to internalize and focus on the present benefits instead of if in one year I'll be able to do some challenging poses, I'm just letting it be. So, thank you for this amazing classes, the bridge with the leg standing was very challenging for me, but I tried, respecting the limits of my body.
This is one was best and hardest for me, till all these 6 days of the program, I feeling so fresh and positive, but I still need to repeat this one for couple times, thx Breath and flow :)

wow. i still need to work on my balance with the tree poses and transitioning to the one legged warrior positions, but after sticking with the program i can finally do chaturanga without dropping my belly onto the floor first. i have control of my core!
this is my favorite yoga channel. it covers flexibility, strength and overall athleticism along with the philosophy and motive of yoga, which is to look within yourself through the breath. i've been on a really intense spiritual journey that began with an ayahuasca ceremony, and since then i've been the seeker. i've been looking into buddhism, hinduism, and exploring consciousness with teachers like stanislav grof who charted perinatal trauma through psychedelic therapy. the more i hear your channel the more it resonates with the philosophies i've gathered in my journey so far. i'm just so excited i've found a channel that gets what yoga is really about. i hope to achieve samadhi through yoga and meditation, and to release what no longer serves me. thank you.

Thanks! I’m doing the beginner calendar. Even though I’ve had a practice for many years, I had COVID & lost a lot of strength & especially lung power (I’m 61). So this one was actually kind of a hard one for me (very humbling). I need to save it so I can do it regularly & see how it feels after a few months. 🙏🏾

I'm an absolute beginner in yoga, but after my first 2 weeks of almost daily practice I already feel some progress in my breathing and leg flexibility. I'm having difficulties with standing balance, though, so I may have to repeat day 6 of the embark program until I get the tree pose right 😅 Thanks so much, greetings from Girona, Spain.

I started this practice with you guys 6 days ago. I use to do yoga but I have few lower back issues and totally gave up yoga. Now I am back and I am ever so grateful for finding you as these past 6 days has been life changing not only for my body but also my mind and spirit. Honestly, after my back problem I never though I will do yoga again. But I must say with your practice I don’t feel strain on my body and everything seems to flow in a peaceful way. I have been following you guys for a while now and doing yoga on and off for a few years but on Day 6..... can I just tell you THANKKK YOUUU - I have reconnected with my body! I have been and will continue to share your information with everyone I know! I wake up with you every morning after I brush my teeth before I check my phone. There isn't enough water in the ocean to show how much gratitude I have for you two. Namaste.
I have chipped away at this over a longer period of time, filling in the last few days with the moon cycle flow and I've realised how I've now had a practice for a solid week and I'm craving it, like air - I resisted it this evening but did it anyway; its been providing me with so much reconnection amidst so much uncertainty in my life right now, and I'm finally feeling like I'm coming home to my self. Thank you for lighting the way 💛

I’ve found that I’ve been extremely inconsistent in my meditation and Asana practice. I finally killed my pride and started the beginner program. For the longest time I was practicing intermediate or the yoga for men series and obviously that was too much. It’s been an experience so far though. Almost a week in and I’ve noticed a huge difference.
Not going to lie, at first, meditation, pranayama and asana practice made everything so much worse. I was getting snappy, irritable with everyone around me and just overall angry and unhappy.
Last night I completed your 2 hour Yin practice from start to finish. For the first time, I felt fully present. For the entirety of the video, I was completely immersed. Time flashed by so quickly. I notice you sometimes say you talk too much during the practice, but I disagree. I try to absorb everything you say, while also remaining focused on the breath.
I’m just grateful for your channel. I know you have a teacher training in 2026, I may have to book it so I don’t miss it. I’ll be ready by then.
On a side note, when I practice sitting meditation, should I manipulate the breath, like Uijayi or should I let my breath come and go naturally, while focusing on it?

I'm in no means a very inward thinking or spiritual person, and found myself coming to your beginner classes due to chronic back pain (5yrs~), hoping it would help. I've done physiotherapy in the past, stretches, chiropractor, took medication to help ease the pain, but nothing ever really helped. I would wake up multiple times a night with a sore back and would need to use my entire body to turn in bed while keeping my back straight so I could turn without discomfort. Some days I'd wake up with such a stiff and sore back I'd have to rock myself into a sitting position in bed to sit up. Then when going to the bathroom, even to lift the seat the pain and stiffness in my lower back even made that difficult.
But, since about last week at day 5 my lower back pain, while still there doesn't hurt as much as before. It may not sound like much but, while in bed I don't even need to think about how I need to reposition, I can just rollover and not have significant pain with it. I can stand and sit for prolonged periods of time and my lower back isn't screaming at me in discomfort, or not as much. The nagging pain I've had in my lower back from having 2 shifted lumbar vertebrae with stress fractures on my spine, has gotten much better. The pain is by no means gone, but is much more tolerable and I haven't needed any medications since then. Still have stiffness but that's to be expected with years of back issues and compensating for it.
I'm currently on my 2nd week of doing the Embark program. Plan on doing it for 1 or 2 more weeks, before trying Ignite. I'm a 6'1 230lbs guy and have been linking and promoting your channel to my coworkers (nurses) the past few days. I'm glad I found your channel. Even if I don't see any more pain relief with continuing, as anyone with chronic pain is aware even a little bit relief can make such a difference. :)

Those balances were challenging. With a damaged dis in my back and a resurfaced hip, there are lots of issues in the lower back and hips!

I was getting frustrated because I couldn't hold tree pose, but you said... who cares if you fall outta the pose, probably you care the most. Once I got out of my own head the rest of the session was much more enjoyable. Struggled today, but much gratitude!

At the beginning of your practice you say "set your intention for the practice" and sometimes you also say to not set it on "doing sport" If I understood correctly 😅

Thank you. Balance was surprisingly difficult but grabbing my foot on my thigh helped a little. I continue to try to concentrate on my breath and now realize that my biggest obstacle at this point is my ego. especially for men (which i assume from your user name) is one of the biggest obstacles when we start practicing yoga. this is why more men need to practice to overcome the identification with the ego and move more of a place of unconditional love and peace. keep up the good work, it is all part of the practice. wonderful job discovering yoga, having an open mind and giving it a try. to get more benefit out of it sit 5-10 minutes longer in meditation after the classes ✌️thanks for being here with us!

Thank you so much for this series. And thank you for your diligence in replying to comments. My intention today was to find calmness. I was very stressed at the beginning. My future intention is to be sure I practice tomorrow and try my best to do this daily. I feel like a bad yogi cause I seem to skip every other day.
Also today was very challenging. It might be the warm garage, my only safe place to practice, but I'm very sweaty today. Maybe I'll just be practicing hot yoga during this season lol.
you are not a bad yogi, get that out of your head. life happens, things happen. the practice always there for you and by repeating it over and over you create discipline to step on the mat to practice every day. you're doing amazing! 🖤🙏
