I would have fared much better myself had I just been an orphan left to my own devices. Which, I havent done that bad either. Ive been able to work with some of my idols, Ive travelled to amazing places and seen amazing things and have great kids, just not where I want to be financially and mentally, having to work through the backwards mindsets I was taught is a real obstacle. I naturally was born with immense drive and ambition and was surrounded by people who were either leeches, or detrimental to my environment. Its not all their fault. But its hard to see when you are young when the people you love and look up to the most turn out to be your biggest adversaries and obstacles, add in a toxic negative mindset and that can be quite a hurdle. Im not complaining, my journey is my journey, and yours is yours. We both have internet so clearly we both are at the very least, doing okay.

*This will be a long text but I decided to share with you, cuz you shared with me*
From 1st to 10th grade, I was brutaly bullied. I was held against the wall at school while people threw stones at me. And hit me with barbered wire. I had to do 11 stitches once. Every Friday, they held me upside down with my head first into the toilets. After they had been peeing in it. Then they flushed the toilet and laughed. They called it the friday-special. One time, I was held down on the ground while they cut my arm open with scissors... Across the artery. From 6th to 10th grade, I was only sitting under a tree. Shaking and my mind was not able to focus for a single second. Then they came up to me and spit in my hair and face, while yelling "this country was never ment for yellow boys like you. Go back to where you came from."
Only thing was...I didnt even know where I came from. I was adopted. They forced me to drink strong alcohol and smoke cigarettes until I started puking.
This was 10 years of my life at school.
Highschool was also brutal. But this time, I was the one making it so. I didnt bully anyone but I was always there when someone was bullied. Nobody would even dare to throw a bad comment my way. I was so fking Alpha cuz of everything I had been through. I used to say that I didn't fear death, cuz I've died a thousand times. I also said that I didn't fear their hell, cuz hell is my home court.
I had become a machine of pure violence. But I always defended those who couldn't defend themselves. Because I felt the pain while just watching..
When I was 17, I ended up in a very bad biker gang. Had at least one girl in every city near me. I had a seriously wild lifestyle.
After a while, I started going through some serious times with this gang, which made me end up leaving them. Even tho I considered some of them to be my friends, they came after me. They were afraid of what I'd say to people. But I never told anyone of what I've seen. They then started showing up at places. (Tracking me). Something terrible happened but when ever someone wants to cause harm to those I love - terrible becomes my middle name.
What I did, gave me a free ticket to an insane asylum. At the age of 17. There was no sleep over there. Cuz my neighbor was throwing knives at the wall. One night, he started stabbing through the wall. Telling me that he was going to kill me. A grown ass man with tattoos all over his body. Including in the left eye. A few weeks later, he threw the whole fking stove through the wall and ran towards me through the broken wall. With a knife. I have never been so afraid in my entire life. Then the alarm went off and the police came in with dogs. They found him knocked out on the floor. But they also found me white as a beach, sitting in a corner. I was stabbed..
Then I stared doing boxing and karate. Got black belt in karate now and I've done boxing for 6 years. The anger inside me is like an eternal hunger. Many times I've been boxing champion in my state/county. I workout very hard aswell. Found out that it was the only thing knocking out my anger and ADHD. Ofc I take medications for ADHD but my rage just made it impossible to tame me.
After a while, I started going outside again. To meet people. This was also seriously tough. I had serious trust issues and I was still a machine. Nothing could ever scare me anymore.
But instead of people asking for a flat nose, I found peace. Peaceful people who only did good. Most of them took care of wild cats and dogs. Dogs without a home etc. Dogs who was blind and who had 3 legs. This was very fascinating to me cuz I finally felt that I could do good things. So I stayed there at that organization and kept on hanging around with these people.
Then one day when I was walking next to the road, I saw a girl. She was sitting there under a tree while crying. And the images inside my head from school, was flashing before me. I then went to ask her what was wrong. I saw that she had been using razor blades to cut her arms. And it was very deep and fresh. I took her to the hospital and they treated her. Then, this girl started contacting me while saying that she would have ended it all that day if I wouldn't have taken care of her. How could a man be so strong, yet so good in heart? Thats what she asked me. I found this girl very interesting, so I started to hang out with her.
One night at some party in the middle of the city, I met the old guys who bullied me at school. They came up to us and started grabbing her ass and pushing me. They were drunk but so was I. Then one of them, called her names etc. Bullied her for her scars
Called her emo etc. I felt the heat inside my soul getting hotter and hotter. I was very soon in earthquake-mode. I beat 5 men within 4 minutes. I didnt get locked up for it because they started swinging at me first.
I am now 25 years old and engaged to this girl.
I still carry the memories of bad sht that has happened in life. But what matters is what I choose to do with the memories. And how I want to use the experiences. I have got more than the normal man, inside my backpack. I will always carry it. But I will never let it define who I am today. Heroes wasnt built by walking fields of roses or going through life in a normal way. They had to see hell to know what they needed to overcome.
You have felt betrayal and had hurtful moments. But you're still here. Breathing and fighting. I can tell, cuz otherwise you wouldnt be writing to me about what is hard for you. You wouldnt even have cared enough. But the fighter inside of you, wanted me to feel what you have to carry inside your backpack. And you are not alone my friend. And I am very proud of you for sharing it with me. It means that you are stronger than you realize. That you can carry this backpack. And that it will begin to feel easier and easier in days to come. Fight for what you believe in and good days will never stop comming your way. It's called being a real man. Something that few people these days will ever be able to be. Zero knowledge about hard times and zero ways to deal with them. Therefore I want you to be happy for your bad experiences aswell. Just as much as your good ones. SOME OF THEM. Because you can use that energy to push yourself on a path that you never knew you could walk. When you use the energy right, there is nothing that can stop you. Because there is nothing more powerful than earthquakes under control. Just learn when to throw them and when not to do it, and you will soon realize what I am trying to tell you. I believe in you! Have a great day sir. And I wish you good luck with future choices. Build your past pain into strength for those around you.
Those you care about. There is only one man who can do it. YOU.

And the earliest FPS online games were usually played with real friends like you would have played ice hockey, football etc. outside.
Nowadays the online only games along with the abundant social media are kinda harmful so I agree on there, but I do remember growing up playing problem solving/puzzle games, hard platformers etc. to build up hand cordination, eye sight, patience and brainpower.

I love listening to both of these brothers, they are true brothers, I love the loyalty they have, I have 3 boys I taught them no matter what number 1 is you have each other’s back.. nothing else will ever matter in life except you having each backs.. Right now in my life I’m going through some issues I’m in a rehabilitation hospital.. people say why don’t your boys come around, why because I don’t want them to, I’m not going to burden my kids.. My kids are starting out in life, my oldest is a model who started a small little jewelry business, my middle son is in the marines, my youngest is in real estate.. why do I want them to worry?? I’m fine, just because I’m going through it, I don’t want them to worry about it.. I don’t want to hold them back.. I’m fine I’ll get through this and go on to be a Success to help them out.. You are what you put into life’s… and I’m a leader not a follow..

I'm 53. Been alone for most of my life. The only time I felt truly lonely was when I was married to the wrong woman (like most men, I did not understand female nature or my own value in my 20's). Being alone gives you freedom. Freedom to pursue your objectives. Freedom to make mistakes, repeatedly if necessary, until you learn the lesson. The ability to be comfortably alone is a superpower. Now, as I approach my 54th year of existence, my value as a man continues to rise. I'm in better shape than the average Western 25 year old. More charming. More skilled. More sources of income. More experienced. More mountains to climb. With each passing year, my life improves. If your friends do not possess the same worldview as you, I suggest you distance yourself from them. Be alone until you find like minded friends who will force you to become a better version of yourself. Ask yourself "where do I want to go in life? Where are my friends going?" If the five people you spend time with are losers, you will be the 6th loser. If they're winners, you will be the 6th winner. Birds of a feather...

7:04 Tristan is so accurate there. I'm ex military. had a 24 year career, the men and women I worked with in that time (mostly) are the most down to earth, warm, kind hearted and TRUSTWORTHY people I've ever been around. Even more than my own family. Since I left? cant trust anyone. Everyone seems to be scheming somehow, looking after their own interests or snaking. I still have those brothers as friends online but we all live far apart now. One absolutely golden friend lives nearby and has my back, he is a brother, that one friend that is 100 percent trustworthy. Apart from my old veteran mates and my kids I don't trust or associate with anyone else. Do you know what? It works and I'm happy.
