Continuous Teardrop Loop Tutorial for Friendship Bracelets

  • Hi and welcome to my first video!
    This is a tutorial for how to make a continuous single color teardrop loop for starting a friendship bracelet. Its a great alternative to the regular teardrop loop if you want the loop to be all one color all the way to the point, instead of showing all the colors of the bracelet threads. It is a little advanced, so make sure you are already familiar with the 4 standard friendship bracelet knots and have a little experience with making friendship bracelets.
    I will have more friendship bracelet videos and tutorials in the future for various skill levels, in the meantime a great channel to reference if you have questions is Masha Knots.
    I also plan to have videos and tutorials on all types of crafts, depending what I am currently interested in, so stay tuned. If you have any suggestions feel free to leave a comment.

    One suggestion of me is can you show us how you do the ends of this bracelet? Because it is the same like the loop, you only use one color, but how do you do that?

      Sophie Rose I’m glad you like it! Do you know how to follow patterns? It’s pattern 26204 on BraceletBook (there’s a link in the video description). I could maybe do a video about segment knotting and use this pattern? But if you know how to read patterns you can definitely make this without a tutorial 👍🏻

    Do you just begin your pattern as normal after doing the loop or is there another way you have to start?

  • @TheVerenskaja
    @TheVerenskaja Před 3 lety

    Thanks a million. Cannot wait to try this out. It looks beautiful. I assume you could also make a variation of this technique and make a single colour triangle start when the pattern is in a way to have the same colour on the very left and right and use it for the loop... 🤔

    • @patternandcraft3908
      @patternandcraft3908  Před 3 lety +1

      Maschi Verenskaja I do have a single color triangle ends video, and you can use the same technique reversed to do a single color triangle start as well

    Ok so I like it but im confused.... will the bracelet just straighten the pattern out by itself.? Because the strings are clearly on a slant, how would that work? :)

  • @cosmicalienlegogirl10
    @cosmicalienlegogirl10 Před 22 dny

    Where did you get the string from and what colors are they

  • @cosmicalienlegogirl10

    What’s the tool u use in the beginning???

  • @daniellecarrier5660
    @daniellecarrier5660 Před 4 lety +1

    To clarify, theres no way to do this technique if two strings of the same color dont cross in the center?

    • @patternandcraft3908
      @patternandcraft3908  Před 4 lety

      Danielle Carrier Danielle Carrier correct, because the strings used for the loop end up in the middle of your bracelet so you would need for the pattern to be one with 2 strings of the same color in the center. If that’s not the case then you might want to use the regular teardrop loop instead, or triangle ends instead of a loop maybe, depending what you prefer.
