My favourite male singer. Everything about Jack takes some beating; his unrivalled vocal range is nigh perfection. His unpretentios performances and style and....sharing his birth year I'm so envious that he has retained his good looks. Keep on singing Jack! Along with Peggy Lee he sends me to sleep most nights playing my CD collections. Thankyou so much.
I do not think that Mr. Jones appeared on Mr. Carson's show after this. LOL. Actually, in 1990, he talked about having just quit smoking on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." Pat had a great show on CBS. He did not work at it though.
Can you imagine if CBS and Pat chased the then untapped urban demo by featuring up and comers from hip hop? Pat was on the CBS Television Network. "Arsenio" was on in syndication.
Jack always exhibited a high level of confidence. From the earliest days of his career during the 1960s. What a guy.
My favourite male singer.
