She said she's recorded over 20 songs. She said she did a deep dive into the beginning of ska in Kingston. You'll be happy with it, I'm sure.
She used Blake's recording studio at their lake house. She wrote some songs on zoom from Oklahoma.
Blake talked her into this song as her first release, I think he chose wisely. Album is coming out in 2021. (She's already done some interviews about it)
Genius.com listed a song called "Sister Mary Ignatius Davies", did my research and that's the name of a nun who was born in *Jamaica* and died in *Kingston.* I would say the album points to having a reggae ish kinda sound. 💚💛♥️

@Rachel Thomas to give it context... he's talking about Bradley Knoll from Sublime. No Doubt did "ska" music( look up "trapped in a box") before they linked up with Sublime for the Beacon Street album(look up "DJ's), then they started to do more "punk ska". This happened back in the 90's when there was a 3rd wave ska revival. Punk, reggae, ska? The beats are basically the same, you start off with reggae, you speed it up a bit? Then you get ska. Go even faster? Then it becomes punk.
